Wooo hoooo! I'm feeling good about July! Finally made it to my second week on Induction.... I'm certainly feeling better, my energy is up, my cravings are down, and my clothes are feeling better. My boyfriend is still on the diet which is surprising lol.... but a great thing for me! His biggest problem is not being able to drink more non-water drinks.... he keeps telling me if he cheats it will be with iced tea or lemonade. He's in block construction so he's convinced he needs those powerade drinks since it's so hot out. He used to come home and tell me water wasn't cutting it.... that he was getting sick from the water lol.... by the end of the week though he was singing a different tune.... I think it was all mental. Anyway, we are coming home from an errand yesterday afternoon and he turns to me and said: "So in summation, I can never have popcorn ever again?" HAHAHAHAH men are so funny.... like of all the things to be upset about cutting from your diet, you choose popcorn???? I explained all about maintenance and that he probably will enjoy popcorn from time to time just not ALL THE TIME.


Anyway, TOM is gone so I'm hoping to step up the exercise to see if that makes the difference in my 170 plateau (and this cellulite that keeps creeping up on me). I'm not at that weight again yet but only time will tell!

Mydear, I've said it many times before.... your such an inspiration in your unfailing devotion to the diet and to your exercise!

Really messed up this weekend, hopefully didn't do a lot of damage though, am up a couple of pounds since Friday....Back on plan though today. Could really tell I had carbed it up yesterday when I tried to wake up this morning, felt like I had been drugged. Hate that feeling of carb overdose!

so nice to be here with all of you, and welcome to all the new posters. i read somewhere about a golden shot while low carbing. so i'm giving it all i got. plus i really need to get use to eating this way for my health. i know that ahead i will be facing some obstacles with 8 birthdays coming up during the summer, and 2 BBQ holidays, but i'm making myself strong now. i'm changing the way i feel and think about food. i'm learning to eat to live. i'm not hanging on to the next meal. i dont think about food all day any more. i stopped thinking about what i'm going to eat and started thinking about what i'm not going to eat. i'm not going to eat cake, ice cream, potatoe salad, macaroni salad, nothing with BBQ sauce, nothing floured coated and i dont drink. but i'm going to every party & picnic and i'm going to have fun.

I am up 2 pounds too. Ate at a buffet on Sunday. Didn't eat potatoes or bread or dessert. Did eat breaded fish fillets and salad with there salad dressing so maybe thats the culprit. I did start water aerobics this morning so that should help.
