How long it takes you to enter Ketosis?

Hi there, I am new to Atkins and lost 5lbs first week, 3 second, and about 2lbs the third week. I make sure I eat under 20g of carbs and I walk 3 times a week 45 min. Took me long to start Ketosis with control sticks check ups, 4-5 days!
How long does it normally take you guys? I know everybody is different, but out of curiosity. Thanks and keep up the good work.

What do you guys do to enter the Ketosis stage quicker? I mean what you typically eat/drink and how long it takes you to test "trace" if you use the test urine strips. Its hard. Please help me figure what I am doing wrong in induction.

Ketosis is like pregnancy, you either are or are not.

The strips are unnecessary and often inaccurate. They detect extra ketones in your urine. And those levels are dependent on your level of hydration. It is possible to be in ketosis (burning fat) and not generating "extra" ketones. In addition, you can lose ketones via expiration, sweat and liver processing.

Keep your net carbs low and you have to be there.

THANK YOU GUYS!
I was getting discouraged because of the ketone sticks ( I found moderate traces only after 5th day!), but I realize I am still losing and is irrelevant! Interesting scootieMike, I didn't know u could eliminate ketones in other ways.

When I first started, I used those sticks and quickly gave them up. I never got over moderate to trace when testing. Yet, I lost over 100 pounds, so I am guessing I was in ketosis!
