Big losers...foot size question

This question is for people who have lost a lot of weight in the past...at least 50 pounds or more.

Did it change your shoe size/width?

I suspect my feet have become wider over the years due to the gravity of a heavy body. Is that permanent or do your feet lose weight too?

Yep when I loss a lot weight my shoe size went down a whole size. Funny though even though I put back most of my weight ( I totaly regret ever going off LC) my shoe size has stayed the same

I lost 65lbs on low carb in 2004, and my shoe size didn't change. I wish it would have. I am 5'8 shoe size 10. It is really hard to find cute shoes in size 10. Maybe they will shrink this time around!!!!!!!

After I had my daughter I lost about 60 pounds and my feet and ankles shrunk an amazing amount! I felt like I had to wear heavy wool socks to keep on clogs and slip on shoes that once were comfortable or felt "narrow". Now I have a terribly flat foot so I would say that I could get away with a half size smaller but I no longer had to look for the shoes with the most "stretch."

I am expecting to go from a 10/11 to a 9/10. I have noticed that I fit fine in 10s and 11s of discount brands like Payless but I can't fit into any of my designer 10s anymore
