Low Carb Smoothies

Hello,

Does anyone have any induction friendly recipes or at least low carb I can have after induction?

Thanks!

Right now I'm making a breakfast smoothie that I really enjoy.

1 scoop Jay Robb vanilla whey protein (1 carb)
1 T. Nutiva coconut oil
1 T. espresso powder (1 carb)
1 c. almond/coconut milk (1 carb)
1 dash NuNaturals stevia powder
Ice

Like a thick frosty coffee drink, but with the protein and I can drink it on my way to work.

I enjoy the Jay Robb by itself even. I make it with one scoop of Jay Robbs, fill the bottom of my bullet cup with whipping cream(roughly .5"), add about 6 cubes of ice and fill the rest with water. The orange tastes like orange sherbert ice cream to me. When I need a sweet fix I add 4 drops of ez sweetz to the mix before I use my magic bullet on it.

But after induction I use the vanilla with the recipe above and a tablespoon of Naturally More Peanut Butter. Those are my 2 staple shake flavors pretty much.

kaywood - fyi - canned coconut milk has 6g carbs per cup, and almond milk 2-3g carbs per cup (depending on brand), not 1g

Depends on the brand. Silk almond milk has 1g carb per cup, that's what I use. And I assume she is talking about boxed coconut milk, similar to almond milk. Some of it is 1g per cup, most of it I've seen is 2-3g per cup but I prefer almond milk anyways.

I made a delicious one yesterday. 5-6 ice cubes, 1c unsweetened almond milk, 1 scoop lemonade syntrax nectar protein powder, and a sprinkle of lemon kool aid packet (the unsweetened packet). It was soooooooooo good.

Recipe saved! That sounds delish! I recently did a search of the forum for any and all smoothie recipes. But lemon/lemonade is my weakness so this sounds perfect!!!

I like a scoop of vanilla jay robb, 2 tablespoon chocolate for baking, coconut milk (it is next to the soy milk and almond milk - 45 calories per cup and 1 carb), and a shot glass full of peanut butter toriani syrup add ice and magic bullet. Or strawberry toriani syrup instead of the peanut butter. Or hold the chocolate and use peppermint syrup and a some instant coffee. Oh, the possibilities are endless. Usually all less than 3 carbs.
