I know isn't that cool!
I was just checking my eye calculation skills, since I have cooked with that kind of cheese before! I like it wrapped in egg battered then fried with salsa on top (green or red salsa).

i will have to try the egg dip too.....but i think the frying of the cheese releases the moisture into a watery stuff that then boils away....so i think maybe fry it once...then batter in egg...then fry again

I love that fried cheese, I could only eat that all day, but then again, I can't have more than 4oz otherwise next day I will wake up like a frog with all the water retention

I see what you are saying, but it has never ruin my batter before. We also cook it like dumplins!! You made me think now, my mom makes my batter cause I never get it in the right consistency, unless my mom is adding something to the batter that make it absorb the moisture. I will find out!

I have to admit something... when I commit to these forums, I check them obsessively... as if had I waited a day, I'd miss something.

It's a good thing though I guess... helps me stay on plan....helps me be accountable!

Got home checked ketosis......and i am barely having any? Wth? I feel like crud...

Made a grilled cheese sandwich (with Julian bread) because its national grilled cheesesandwich day. I figured better eat something, since ketosis is barely there and needed comfort food.

i started to hide because i went off plan but i HATE when people do that so here i am

me and my husband had a rough couple days together. no need to get into details of course but a bicker just turned into a big deal if ya get me... so anyway i was miserable and had a HUGE chinese food dinner last night- the works! i was trying to hold it together but after a couple days of not having my best friend aka hubby by my side, i just caved. well, we caved together

so now im back! even though im still going through things and even though my weight is back up to 163.6 ( oh, and the night before i went to a baseball game and for the first time since last year got drunk that sure didnt help the scale either but at least that was fun!)

this time i didnt have any bad effects yet- i was scared those 3 bowls of white rice would have me up all night shaking from the carb load! i slept like a baby and feel good so far, just looking out for a rough couple of days with my cravings coming back im sure...

instead of dwelling, heres things im proud about:
-i know i caved last night but i went a good couple days feeling very bad and i didnt run immediately to food like i have done in the past.
-the 163.6 isnt as bad as i thought! i know i shouldnt be proud of this but whatever
-i still think i can do this. will i miss my next goal? maybe. but even though i had set concrete goals i have this vague goal of just wanting to be under 150 by september. a new school semester and starting out fresh! so that goal is of course still possible!

and thats my story for now! now time to copy and paste since i need to rush to get ready- sorry for those that i post on multiple threads with!

Happy Friday the 13th!!!

asdf1234, it's not about falling off the wagon... its what you do once you've fallen.... you are being accountable! Life's not perfect... we're not perfect... we're bound to stumble, but you've recognized your behavior and now you're back in the swing of things! Great job!

Congrats on the losses so far, everyone! I re-weighed again today from yesterday and I'm down 5lbs total. I've been staying true to induction rules and it's really showing. Haven't really had the induction flu yet but this is only my 5th day... if it comes, hopefully it will be this weekend when I'm not working Oh it feels good to be in control again... my whole outlook on life changes when I'm doing Atkins... I just feel like jumping out of my skin! It makes me THAT positive!

Ok enough for now! Have a great weekend everyone!!!

Juls

225.3 this morning, I'll take it since I had a grilled cheese sandwich with Julian bread yesterday. Not bad....

Thank god I am not "drunk" anymore and I was able to get to work, now I need to work twice as hard because I left early yesterday :-)

Nothing major planned this weekend, just the regular domestic stuff and Sunday taking the kids to a ballgame, I should be okay...shopping today and I am going for sure get some fresh queso....and make my own salsa with lots of cilantro, oh wait I am going to make this with it Chimichurri Recipe | Simply Recipes

Totally understand why you hunt :-) I would not do it for a weekend though, I think I would want to stay out of touch/range longer for place like that. The starry night photo's are breathtaking, well....they are all to be honest!!!

Are the kids and wife coming too??
