good morning everyone!! well glad to see you're back on plan asdf -- i'm just plodding along waiting for some serious downward action.... i was great yesterday-- went to the eastern shore and had a hard boiled egg and 1oz cheese (from the 7-11), then a one-egg omelet with cheese and mushrooms for dinner with some lettuce. i am going to get some SF jello today --- i hate jello but it's something to put in one's stomach.... and with a T of cream it can actually be ? sorta good?

I think I may be officially stalled already. I've seen a little movement in inches, but no movement on the scale since the first week.
I'm pretty depressed about it actually. I'm in ketosis every day...a bit less this week because I think I cracked a front tooth last week and couldn't get in to the dentist until this upcoming Monday, so I've been avoiding food that must be bitten or requires major chewing in case I knock my tooth by accident and make it worse. On Atkins, that doesn't leave much! So my carbs were a bit higher this week, but not enough to knock me out of ketosis. Just stress? Come on, whoosh... |

Hope all is well with you and the hubs asdf.
Hope everyone is well and staying on track! I have been bad logging on but am still on track ![]() Last night I had a close call with a barbeque chicken pizza and cheese sauce that i dearly love. I considered allowing myself a piece or two but then I remembered ALL the many times i've innocently done that and ended up getting off my diet and not being able to get back on for months and months so i decided it wasn't worth it. Plus i prob. would'v e gotten bloated and maybe started having cravings. I think i may be gluten intolerant so it prob woulda made me sick. Instead I made something different (getting tired of same foods) that i had printed off a lc site years ago. It was tasty !! It was a tuna, creamcheese, parm, mushroom, onion, etc thing heated on stove. I had green beans with it. Sooooooooo glad i didnt' give in!!!!!! ![]() This morn the usual eggs.bacon.coffee *I wish my weight would move. I've been stuck at this weight forever!!* ![]() |

Hi everyone! Well, i'm in a good mood cause i'm down a pound...easy to do because we performed last night at a party ...at a barbeque restaurant... The best in the universe (or at least the east coast)... And if there's food where we play i usually ave a plate for after the gig. Well, my food got taken away and i never saw it (the best brisket!!).
Aw well, maybe today i go searching for pilled pork!! |

I had two...count 'em...two days off! After more than a week of eating soft food and staying in ketosis, I finally cracked on Sunday because I was just really hungry because of the limited choices. Then yesterday I had run out of yogurt, so I didn't eat anything until I got back from the dentist around 3 p.m...same deal, I was hungry and my teeth were achy and I didn't want to do any hard chewing. It turns out I was right...I had cracked my front tooth, so my dentist had to remove the cracked part and build it back up. Front teeth are the worst because of getting that needle so close to the nose. It's still a little achy today, but not much. The good news is, the National Heath in Scotland rocks! I can't believe how cheap it was to have it fixed!
So back on the straight and narrow today, and I treated us to sirloin steaks and broccoli for tonight to celebrate the new beginning. I think it's tougher to check for change at a bigger weight. When taking measurements, fat squishes awfully easily, so it's hard to tell if you've taken your measurements the same way twice. I tend to go with overall trends. Weight...well, we know how disceptive the scale can be and when you are clinically obese, water does strange things in bigger quantities, so five pounds or so fluctuation in a day isn't unusual. Even with clothing...I have a variety of fit in my closet. Fat girls tend to wear clothes designed to hide the body, and I'm a sucker for sale items. So I have pants that are a bit baggy, but look fine with something over top of the waist. Skirts that are a bit too tight, but who will see that with a long top? Etc., etc. I spend quite a bit of time trying to remember how something fit before I started the diet. ![]() Sunday I wore a pair of tweed trousers and was surprised by how loose the waistband was...is that weight loss or were they always loose in the waist? Who knows! ![]() I need to just have faith and wait for the unmistakable pay off. |

According to my last set of measurements, I have lost two inches off my ribcage and an inch of my breasts, for a total of 3 inches off my bust measurement, 3 inches off my waist, one inch off my belly, one inch off my butt, and a half inch each off my thigh and calf. Nothing off my upper arm.

mil - you are so right about measuring. i can only tell by what used to be too tight but now fits comfortably (yep that's starting to happen). and the bigger you are/ heavier you are, it takes more pounds lost to make a difference.
Question about brussels sprouts-- how many carbs? in a small one vs large one? is it around 1 carb per sprout? cause that's a lot? |

I weighed yesterday at work. 230. I'm doing terrible at logging my food on any of the calculators. =/ I ran out of ketostix, but at this point, I know what will and won't knock me out.
