I understand the Atkins books contain a sample grocery list, but what about you? What does your low carb grocery list look like?

I shop for one, so I don't shop that far ahead.. in the past 3 weeks these are the items I've lived on:

Red & Green Bell Peppers
Cans of Tuna
Turkey Sausage (lowest carb ones I could find)
Regular Sausage
Mayo/Dill Relish
Eggs
Chicken (I buy the pre-cooked ones)
Romain Salad (I buy hearts, much more cost effective and they last longer)
Frozen Broccoli
Pepperoni (probably against rules, oh well)
Shredded cheese
Baby Carrots
Sardines

I plan on adding things as I go along but what is working now for me is keeping it very, very simple.. I actually hope I'm eating enough..

Your food choices look a lot like my food choices minus the cheese and carrots. I also buy tins of salmon, green beans and a 1 pound container of salad greens plus the occasional jar of salsa. I also buy bags of frozen catfish fillets.

Thanks! It's been a looonnnggg road but worth it. I needed the motivation to finally get to goal so I decided to join up here with all of y'all! Plus, my teenage daughter just decided to start this WOE because the pounds have kind of packed on with high school. I am so proud of her for making this decision at her young age.

Mine includes a lot of the above, plus spicy pork rinds and sour cream, and several different types of nuts. I've got to have low carb snacks available otherwise ut-oh. I've also recently added Vienna sausage to the list, as per Cindylou's suggestion.

I've tried kroger brand low carb and really don't care for it. Dannon is okay, but it's difficult to find.

Dannon Diabetic Friendly yogurt is yummy...IMHO

I find it in vanilla or strawberry and its only 3 or 4 carbs for the container (they are small containers but thats ok).

They don't carry much stock in it at my grocery stores. I shop at Stop and Shop and Shop Rite. If your store doesn't carry them (or anything else for that matter) you can always ask a manager if they would consider ordering them to try!
