that really is the worse, when you step outside the house and realized you got everyone else breakfast but forgot yours! and im starting to hate getting fast food without the bread too... not that anything matters bc im not losing again! i have been having little stalls WAY more then losing, ever since the second week!

ugh kids are up early. todays going to be very hard, stress wise. i have a homework assignment due in a couple hours, havre to get everyone out of the house fed and dressed, and then tonight is crazy girl cleaning bc i have a guest coming over who has never been over- gotta hide our sloppiness! will write in meals later when i have time for that too

hmmm i dont think it was- but i was just going by carb counting ( i believe my serving ended up being 8 carbs at the most; since it was Vday, i was ok with that- i dont use the rediwhip on ordinary days). and i may not have alot to lose but 150 isnt like a SMALL me, i just thought that was a reasonable goal for my height (im pretty close to 5'7) so i feel like i should have had a couple extra great weeks in the beginning, no? maybe im being stingy, who knows...

homework part of the day is done whew so lemme sit and think of some meals today:

B- coffee with 4 tsp. HC & 2 splendas
B- pork roll w/ cheese (been getting nauseous in the morning with the thought of eating and taking pills but i cant skip breakfast since i go right to school and would be starving in class)

L- 1 cup mashed cauliflower and baked chicken

S- cheesestick (trying to up my cheese just slightly- worried about calcium)

D-spinach quiche

I had a gain so I think I am doing all liquid today. 2 atkins shakes and the rest homemade shakes. I think too much salt yesterday?!

The 2 shakes will be 320 cals and 3 carbs plus my homeade ones have 1 carb and 127 calories. So I think I will be around less than 10 carbs today and 1200 cals.

Better friggin work. I will be low on the fat today so I think I will put EVOO in tea today as well :/

not planning today, wish me luck! its going to be a crazy day filled with my son's soccer game, FIL's 50th bday party at a restaurant, and trip to the mall to get my boys' picture taken for a "#1 pop pop" shirt so i dont want to make a plan that ends up disappointing me bc i couldnt stick to it... does that make sense?

plus, ive been stalling for awhile again at 172- makes me have no excited feeling of my daily weigh ins like i usually have. good or great day, that scale wont budge!

weigh in day

Off to work again. Season is really keeping us busy. Hope to be home by noon and then do some yard work. Then maybee dinner out with DH and LO (hee hee that stands for "last one"- meaning he's the last one left at home! the rest are grown) and a movie.

Oh! weigh in this morning. Down three pounds! Just checked the atkins book and that puts me between average and low for metabolic resistance. I don't know if that takes into account my body's spongelike ability to hold water but it gives me hope. Still aiming for 10#s a month for the first 50.

i used cleo's cauliflower crust recipe, found it on another website though... its grated cauliflower with an egg and mozzarella cheese as the crust... it was pretty good, i usually use another mock pizza recipe without the cauliflower and this one definitely tasted less like egg and more like carbs but its not perfect- made it with meat toppings and you couldnt pick it up and it stuck to the pan (probably my fault although i did spray) so it looked like a mess! but with the pepperoni and sausage toppings (which you have to brown beforehand), it was tasty and something different.
give it a try!

Thanks I will do that. I have made a crust of eggs, Mexican cheese, heavy cream, oregano, garlic powder, parm cheese before from another website and it was really good.

I know what that can be like - feeling ten lbs heavier. This has not been a clean Induction a to the letter start - the spirit of the plan was kept however. Too much lettuce, cheese, the occassional cherry tomato or onion ring would sneak into a salad. Portion control is SO important, and I lack that.

B: 1 tsp CO 3 pieces of thick cut bacon coffee w/ CO
Planned -
L: Yesterday's pulled chicken, salad w/ Blue Cheese dressing
D: Ahi tuna or Sole or Cod done in CO something 'legal' as a side
DSRT: 1/4 cup SF gelatin w/ cream

uh oh mom in laws cooking dinner!

UGH I caught a cold! Had the first person ask if i was losing weight
. I've tried so many times I hate to even answer!

B: 4 slices bacon ( Hormel brand- it shrivels up to 2 inches! won't by it again), 2 eggs over easy, coffee w/creamer, greens +
L: 4 dry rub ribs (having a rib fetish since last sundays dinner), small side salad w a couple fork dips of blue cheese dressing.
mother in law- (who is probably the best southern cook I've met)- called and made dinner- 75% af which was off plan- I kind of picked around it she was very understanding and took no offense
D: 4 medallions of italian sausage(half dollar size) cucumbers in sour cream, lil bit of spinach (maybe a forkful) green beans,

resisted the garlic bread and rice and berry cobbler!
