Awwww sorry to hear that. Hope everything will be okay. Great job eating the green beans instead of going for the carbs. Sometimes it can be hard for me not to eat off plan when I am really stressed. Hopefully things will get better

Is it perfectly ok to eat a fast food cheeseburger with no bun, ketchup and anything else other than the meat/cheese/lettuce/mayo basically? I always assumed there's all sorts of stuff other than meat. (could be carbs/sugar) I can only find nutritional information for the entire sandwhiches.

I'm sure it is fine especially since you did not have any ketchup on it. You can look up the nutritional value of the chains' food on the internet (just looked at McD's). Although you will have to estimate the carbs in the buns. People do it on here often even taking their own buns!

I take a soup spoonful of psyllium with half a liter of water before each meal. FYI, I haven't been losing as fast as most people but I've lost steadily 8.5-10 pounds each month since I started in May.

Funny you said that. I took my food (iced tea as well) to an outdoor music festival today. So much food for sale but had no interest in trying to figure out if there would be something there for me to eat. While eating it and listening to Rosalind Cash someone walked behind me a said what a great salad that is, I agree, I was happy eating it and it kept me filled for the rest of the afternoon of walking around!

Found a web site that listed 25 of the lowest carb vegetables, so going shopping to get some for salads. Was using mixed greens and baby kale, maybe these will be lower in carbs. And who'd a thunk that plain old iceburg lettuce had any nutritional value at all. It has potassium in it and that has helped me get rid of some horrendous leg cramps from LCing. So will add that into my salads now as well.

So today, same as usual, not sure about dinner, will have to poke around my freezer.

Have a great day!!!!!!!!!!!

I got some stuff from Wal Mart, cukes, box of mixed greens, bag cole slaw, and a bag of something I had never seen there, brand name NewStar "cooking with spnach plus power greens" (yes that is the name on the bag). It has spinach, baby bok choy, and baby red & green chard. I think the kale while really good for you, is kind of high in carbs. This has 1 net carb per 3 cups. And I make really BIG salads to fill up on. I also precook a LOT of chicken on the grill and freeze them, so in addition to these items, I cut up on chicken breast. I make my own dressing of olive oil and unfiltered apple cider vinegar with seasonings. So maybe by not eating the kale and making salads from these items, should be pretty low in carbs and high in fat (olive oil). Who knows, tweaking and tweaking. I pulled out a pair of jeans today, small size from last year. Took those and the next size up to the gym to make sure I had something to wear. Well I stuffed myself into those smaller sized jeans just to make myself feel better. Yes, I could breath but they fit better last year. Oh well, Never saw this size in my lifetime, probably not even when I was born, ha ha!!! Just want to get these other pounds off (10 to be exact).

And Passion68, I am even avoiding the berries, tomatoes, and avocado. Lucky you to add those to your list! Oh and found some sausages I made awhile ago, so after thawed will crumble them and add them to some scrambled eggs for supper along with some steamed cauliflower.
