350 to 375 degrees. I substitute different meats, cheeses, and veges depending on what i have. what I like is that you are not using 6 eggs or something for the entire pie.

I got the recipe from a different thread-I think it was Fitnessjunkie who posted about them. I'll go poke around and see if I can find her post. And, because of the above, I am going to report my daily meals at the end of the day or the next day. Because of my reduced appetite, I'm finding I don't always eat everything I'd planned on. ![]() ETA: re: the enchiladas, after poking around a bit, I think it will be easier if I bring the recipe I'd cut and pasted from home. I'll report back here tomorrow (if I remember, lol!). Last edited by Passion68; 02-09-2012 at 01:35 PM.. |

"i dont think of a lumberjack eating muenster cheese and pecan oil "He would wear a pink and black plaid flannel shirt I reckon hehe. B: 2.5 eggs scrambled in lots of butter 2 pieces thick cut bacon coffee/lt cream L: Burger patty w/ white sharp chedder cheese - a few carrot medallions and green pepper slice. (planned) D: Pecan meal dusted flounder done in pecan oil and butter with cold prawns and a bit of mayo and horseradish (if that's awful - won't repeat, but should be like a Horsey sauce really) mix medley of squash, broc, cauli, carrots that we get at BJs. (planned) I wish my store would restock their pork rinds already - huge barrel for not a lot of money. DSRT: 1/4 cup SF geatin with 1 tblsp heavy cream - we're crazy for this and see it replacing our all too often Blue Bell ice cream nightly treat.Wish us luck this weekend - going to the State Fair and meeting friends at Spaghetti Warehouse and a wine tasting thingie - triple YIKES!! |

George Stella is a chef that was on the food network with a low carb cooking show. He's got several cookbooks out. Whats so great is that he and his entire family lost LOTS and I mean LOTS of weight with LC cooking. He was over 400 #s. His wife lost like 80 and his kids were really over weight and are very slim now. His wife is a baker and colaborates(sp?) on the cook books. His story is very inspiring. He calls his way of cooking "stella style"[/QUOTE]

it WAS expensive! probably wont get it again bc im not sure how much it works as a weigh loss thing and thats the only reason i bought it (and i do realize that 1. it has many great benefits and 2. its not a magical diet supplement... but i will try anything once
no meal plan yet. hoping the coconut oil coffee will hold me off until after i go food shopping and then i can start eating |

congrats lavajane!
gained half a pound, thinking its just water, had an off day yesterday. had pork roll and hot dogs (nitrates and sodium galore!), not enough water, and my mom took me and the kids to the burger king play yard so i had to have their cheeseburgers without buns- but im sure thats not great for atkins either! so not a carb day per se but not a great diet day... since coconut oil ( 1 Tbsp a day)- stalled and then gained a half pound; obviously going to keep trying it for awhile longer but im nervous to increase it to another Tbsp.... |
