He's doing as well as expected. He's only 55. He has heart trouble and Parkinson's disease. In April, he had a stroke. I'm trying desperately to get him to change his eating habits to LOSE weight. All of this has put a strain on him mentally. The best is we are fighting to get SS disability for him. They don't think he is sick enough.

I totally agree, as I tried this before on my own, and I was doing all short of cheating, plus I used quite a lot sugar free stuff, which I'm sure ruined it all for me, it just made me want more and when you have a carboholic family around you, it just makes matter wore, but not this time, thanks to this and many other threads, reading the stories, seeing how I'm not alone in this struggle really makes a difference. you are amzing too!!

Today's menu:
B: coffe & cream, 2x eggs, frankfurter, iceberd lettuce, mayo
L: egg, tuna, iceberg lettuce, mayo
D: coffe & cream 2 chilli frankfuters, iceberg lettuce, mayo

also drinking alot mineral water all day long prox.1.5 L

Been looking threw and reading some of this thread and I have to say wow. I see some great numbers here. You all are doing great regardless of how fast your losing. Ill have to start writing down what im eating and see whats up. Ive been at this for about 9 weeks now and just figured out why i was going so slow. Im a cheese lover and figured cheese is carb free so i went to town. I was eatting between 1-2lbs of cheese a day. lol. It stalled me to the point i wasent losing 1 lb. I stopped eating all cheese 2 weeks ago and have lost 6lbs already. Starting today im gonna write down what im eating. You guys are really doing great. Peace Gdub

Things have been crazy the last two days and have not track what I have eaten although I have stayed on plan. I can say though that the scale jumped from 218 to 216.4 this morning. I hope it sticks. I will at least revel for one day because of it.
