I am on an extended Induction. I do not eat nuts yet. My diet is really like Atkins 72 right now. After the way I "binged" on low-carb yesterday (sodium and calories caused a 2 lbs. water weight gain this morning) I need a place to post my menus to keep me more accountable. After yesterday, my calories are low for today, can't hurt since yesterday was high (around 2000). In my menu, I had plan to eat a cup of broccoli with dinner but I was TOO FULL to eat anymore.

Breakfast: none - husband had an appointment this morning and I was NOT HUNGRY enough to eat.

Lunch: 1 egg, 3 slices bacon, 1 cup lettuce, 1 T. Ranch dressing

Dinner: 4 oz. chicken, 1 oz. sauteed mushrooms in 1 T. butter, 1 slice bacon, 2 slices of provolone cheese

Calories: 831; Fat: 66.28g (72%); Protein: 52.33g (27%); Carbs: 2.83g [total not net] (1%)

Something I watch is my sodium intake: 2073mg

S: 2 cocktails, 1 roast beef slice, 1 Cheddar slice, mayo, 2 servings Krave (CARBS!)
Water all day, Vit A&D, C, BC and allergy pills before bed
1766 calories (too many for me), 71 carbs (also too many), 60% fat, 17% carbs, 22% prot, .2 pound loss

It worked for me back last year. Kind of not losing good now but I am reading this is normal.

I have had a pretty good day today. My weight is 209 today so up a few pounds. I have increased my water today to try to flush everything out so hopefully I will go down again tomorrow.

Breakfast: slim jim/water

lunch: hot wings, celery, ranch, water

snack: slim jim / coke zero

dinner: chicken breast, okra sauteed in butter

This is now day three with NO loss, but hey I really am glad that it's not a gain. I know that it's going to break soon, because my body is just trying to adjust to this new way of eating.

Today's Menu:
B: coffee & cream, 4 slices turkey bacon, 2 fried eggs (with coconut oil - tried for the first time - it's good)
L: 8 cheese crisps & 2 egg white cheese omelet
D: grilled chicken salad
S: one minute muffin (tried for the first time last night - EXCELLENT)

Hang in there Salis. A lot of people experience what they call a "whoosh" during induction. A few days of no loss then one day you weigh and all of a sudden several pounds are GONE! Hope that is happening for you!!!

Today's Food

Breakfast: 2 scrambled eggs in butter

Lunch: 1/2 chicken breast, 1 1/2 cups of okra cooked in butter

dinner: same as lunch

*** Probably still need more fat and calories***

Hoping for a LOSS tomorrow.

Day four NO loss, but I am still holding on. I am tracking EVERYTHING that I put in my mouth on ****** and I am drinking LOTS of water. I have noticed that my BM's are not coming daily and have stalled a couple of days, so I am going to take a little laxative to help the flow. I have enjoyed the one minute muffins with ground flax so I will probably eat a couple of those today. Thanks everyone for your support!!

Today's Menu:
B: coffee & cream, 3 turkey bacon, 2 fried egg with cheese with sausage crumbles
S: one minute muffin
L: McDonald's double cheeseburger NO BUN
S: one minute muffin
D: grilled chicken with creamy spinach

Sails, Sorry about the no loss! Have you tried lowering, or cutting out completely, cheese to see what happens? Last month I was finally fed up with the scale drama (no losses, or loss then gain) and I stopped adding cheese at every meal. It helped reduce calories and helped restart consistent weight loss.

Trying to clean up after some nasty ol' mashed potatoes during my vacation (although I did lose three pounds there, so ...)

Anyway:

Breakfast: Two fried eggs and an OMM
Snack: Cheese stick
Lunch: One cup romaine with zero carb dressing, 2 ham slices
Dinner: Probably fish
Also took my coconut oil in my coffee (love it!) and will have my vitiman later.

Today:

Brunch: Slice of broccoli/cheddar crustless quiche. Coffee with half/half (379 Calories; 32g Fat; 18g Protein; 5g Carbohydrate; 2g Dietary Fiber; 3g Net Carbs - a bit too rich for me to have every day so I froze the rest)

S: 2 ounces smoked salmon with cucumber slices

D: Grilled chicken thighs with salad

Water, water, water

Chia pudding for dessert

Will log it all into fat secret for calorie counts etc.

Grilled peach, topped with greek yogurt and cinnamon
L- Salad with feta cheese, a tbspn extra virgin olive oil and lemon juice
S- gonna be out- will bring an apple
D- Salad with grilled chicken and poppy seed dressing

Im new to this (finished my first week today) so if anyone thinks any changes should be made, I am all ears! Thanks!!

How do you make them. I have only drank one a couple times and I like it. But I dont know how to make it.
Yea I know I could Google it but I wanted to see how you made your. Thought about trying to make one a few weeks ago. One of my dil made me one a couple months ago. It was strong and dry. I like dry. But it was too hot...

Can I ask why do you take your supplements at night...

Still waiting on the swoosh fairy, so no change on the scale today, but I'm not giving up....I now realize that I'm just a SLOW loser than most and that it's going ot take me a little bit longer to get to my goal....Thanks for all of the support everyone
