Been busy so I haven't posted in the last couple of days...and I messed up yesterday so I am hesitant to share that info!

Monday

Breakfast: 2 eggs, boiled with a slice of American cheese
Lunch: chicken salad (chicken, mayo, celery, chopped egg)
Supper: out with the family at a buffet - had steak, 1/4 piece lemon pepper talapia, small salad, green beans

Yesterday:

Breakfast: slice of American cheese
Lunch: (here's where I flubbed the dub ) chicken strips and fries (oh well)
Supper: 2 weiners with dijon
Snack: spoonful of peanut butter

So, I messed up but didn't let it blow my whole day...just got right back on track again. I should also explain that yesterday was a super busy and super stressful day so grabbing lunch while out was the only thing I could do, although I know I should have made better choices. I didn't eat enough for breakfast but was rushed because my daughter is sick and the doctor had a cancellation so they got her in less than an hour after I called. My mess up is bugging me a little, but I'm not a daily weigher so that's probably a good thing. Headed out of town on Friday, to an area that is rich with high carb foods, going to be hard to stay on track but I'm pretty darn determined not to mess up again!

Jinger looks like you are still doing great Judy don't let the one slip up get you down. I have learned the hard way that skipping breakfast leads to trouble. I am still at 212 twelve today. Hoping for another loss tomorrow.

Breakfast: linda's low carb chili w/cheese.

Lunch: toppings of 1 slice of chicken pizza, 3 hot wings

dinner: more linda's low carb chili w/ cheese (made a lot)

Lots of water and a couple of coke zeros in there

No clue what I'm eating today which is just a set up for failure! It's Saturday so I'm tired of planning! Gag i better stay on track
I already had some plum tomatoes in the frig, so am eating them, but will not get more for now because they are too carby. I just discovered the recipe part of LCF, and will explore it more when I can. This week (I just started) I have planned the next day in the evening before. However, I find that I have good intentions to cook supper, but am too tired and hot when I come home from work. This week, I am going to prep a few things today or tomorrow for weekday suppers and leftover lunches. When I got too overwhelmed earlier this week, I went through a drive-through but stayed on plan. I hope it gets better for you.

Jinger, the low carb chili is really good with some cheese. Yummy
It is more of a soupier consistency than regular chili and I choose to make mine with ground turkey. I tweaked the recipe and added more seasoning. It was not as spicy as I would have liked though. Next time I will mince a jalapeno and throw in there. I am cooking the seafood bisque this weekend off Linda's low carb recipes. I hope that is good too.

Stuck to plan, but feel like I ate too much.

Coffee, coconut oil, heavy cream
B: Leftover pork chop and spinach (I like dinner for breakfast, yes.)
L: Lettuce with homemade island dressing (1 tbs of melted coconut oil, juice of half a lime, 1 tbs of mayo and half a Splenda ... OMG, SO GOOD)
More Lunch: An omelet
Snack: Handful of almonds

Huh, maybe it's not that much. I'm not sure. It feels like I pigged out.

I'd love to join you all!

I started induction on Tuesday of this week. I'm already down something like 7.5 lbs. I will say that I started with a lot of inflamation relating to TOM (which started Wednesday), and by today I feel SO MUCH BETTER! Buh bye swollen ankles!

My menu for today:

B: coffee w/hwc, OMM, 1oz cream cheese
L: sliced turkey, 1/2 avocado, 2 slices swiss cheese
Sn: not sure yet - maybe just some olives and a bit more cream cheese
D: probably a hamburger patty w/1/4c no sugar marinara and some mozarella, and a big salad

I don't know if the marinara is legal on induction. It's from Costco and the first time I could find one that had no sugar at all. I'm just gonna have that tiny bit for flavor.

Hi Cathy! I just started too!! Your stats look close to mine. Maybe we can be buddies. I am so far loving this WOE. I have not gotten the "flu" but that's probably because I was somewhat low carb since June, and I was trying to do JUDDD, but I didn't lose at all. I think I was still allowing too many carbs. Anyways, for me, good ol' Induction is working well.

Have a great weekend everyone!

Today was a tough day! After dinner I kept feeling snacky- back in the day I would have totally gone to the McDonald's 5 min away and gotten hot fudge sundae and the 3 cookies ugh like 800 something calories. I'm so thankful for Atkins because I still ate something tasty, satisfied my need to feel more full and I still remained at about 1500 for the day!

B: flax seed cracker sandwich (Gahhhh lol) with one egg and 1 tbs cream cheese

L: Linda sues stuffed pepper

S: 1/8 a cup walnuts

D: other serving of stuffed pepper , Atkins bar( last one!) and coffee flavored macadamia nuts

Hi, Amy, I'd love to be buddies. Last week was my first week, and it went very well. No flu for me either, although I was tired - could also have been the heat. I slipped in more carbs this weekend, and may regret that tomorrow. Best wishes this week.

portcop, I've heard similar things about Vienna sausage. We were up on the ATV trail, so lunch choices were reduced.

I'm playing catch up here after a short weekend trip (my first in over 10 years...more on that later!) I was worried I wouldn't be able to maintain my plan but I did it and am super proud of myself! Trust me though, I was sooooo tempted to give in to some fried seafood and/or cajun cuisine!

Friday:

Breakfast - 2 eggs, deviled
Lunch - quarter pounder with cheese, sans bun
Snack - handful of peanuts
Supper - steak, squash, green beans

--------------------

Saturday:

Breakfast - 2 eggs, boiled
Lunch - can of tuna with mayo
Supper - lemon-pepper chicken, green beans

--------------------

Sunday:

Breakfast - 2 eggs, deviled
Lunch - skipped (I know, bad idea, but I was so tired from travel I slept!)
Supper - chicken cacciatore (sort of LOL) (leftover lemon pepper chicken cut into cubes, with green pepper, onion, mushrooms and some marinara sauce...kids ate theirs with dreamfield's but I'm cutting out dreamfield's since it gives me such stomach trouble.)
Snack - giardiniera

--------------------

Monday:

Breakfast - 2 eggs, deviled
Lunch - chicken salad (chicken breast, celery, egg, mayo)
Supper - Not sure yet to be honest...may grab a salad or a bunless burger

If I need a snack today I'll have a handful of nuts or snack on some giardiniera. So far no need for a snack today though.
