Yesterday:

Breakfast - 2 eggs, deviled (mayo and dijon)
Lunch - chicken salad (chicken breast, celery, egg, mayo)
Supper - hot wings, ranch dip, all meat toppings from a slice of pizza

No snacks - Yesterday was my son's birthday, so we ordered pizza because we had to change plans to go out to eat at a steakhouse. I had made his birthday cake, a decadent chocolate/peanut butter concoction with all kinds of goodies on it...and although the wonderful smell of it nearly drove me crazy, I didn't eat a single bite. I was so tempted to lick my fingers when I was done serving everyone but I said NO! and grabbed a paper towel to wipe off the yumminess. Dear lord it was hard though! One more birthday cake to get through in the next couple of weeks. If I can resist the one yesterday, I am certain I can keep doing well!

Today:

Breakfast - 2 eggs, deviled (mayo, dijon)
Lunch - leftover chicken salad
Supper - chicken stir fry (chicken, chinese style veggies - cauliflower, broccoli, snap peas...removing carrots from mine, soy sauce)

Snack (if needed) - sugar-free jello cup and/or handful of peanuts

Way to go Jinger! Keep up the great work!

Today I had:

Breakfast - 2 eggs, deviled
Lunch - Handful of peanuts (not really lunch, but I had a lot going on today and wasn't hungry at all...kind of had to force myself to eat that!)
Supper - chicken kebabs (marinated chicken in italian dressing) with salad (romaine, tomato, green olives, cheddar, homemade thousand island dressing)

No snacks - very little appetite today

OK I have been real busy and haven't had a lot of time to post. I had a slip up yesterday so I have been feeling guilty, but I am over it time to move forward.

Thursday

Breakfast: 6 grilled chicken nuggets from chik fil a, unsweetend tea

lunch: 4 mardi gras chicken wing flats from publix, water

Dinner: 1 hot dog, 1/2 slice swiss cheese, water

I had very little appetite this day and keep having a naseous feeling.

Friday: (Set myself up for failure )

Breakfast: NONE

Lunch: Shrimp scampi, lobster tail, grilled shrimp, salad, 1 cheddar bay biscuit, 1 ice cream sandwich (What the hell)

No dinner

Basically I ate very little on Thursday, skipped breakfast on Friday and was starving by lunch time. I met a friend at red lobster and I caved. I am not proud of myself. I thought this would throw me out of ketosis but to my surprise it has not... I have avoided the scale today though, because I was afraid that it would be up. I will weigh again tomorrow. If this has taught me anthing it is DO NOT SKIP MEALS!!!!!

I usually don't snack at all, but today I feel like I am starving for some reason. I don't know what's going on, except that my allergies are acting up really bad today (sneezing, stuffy nose). I keep wanting more giardiniera, or to drink the juice...like my body is craving vinegar or something. It's weird!

I am using the Livestrong plate to calculate carbs. It does seem to help, since I plan a day ahead. Two days ON plan and two pounds gone - It is a small start, but I am happy with it! I hope everyone else is doing well.
