Started Induction yesterday. Hope you don't mind if I hop on- I neeed some daily support as I am the only one in the house LC'ing it.

B: 3 eggs, 2 slices bacon, 2 C coffee with creamer and 1 packet splenda 9 I only use 1/2 a packet per cup- I like my coffee a little plain.
Had to go grocerry shopping so lunch and dinner kinda melted into each other especially since it's super bpwl sunday
S: pepperoni's with cheese (about an ounce)
L + D: fried chicken wings (we made them ourselves), low carb coleslaw,
spent the night watching the game from the kitchen. made up some sf jello cups and baked chicken legs, boiled eggs and turkey rolls. my biggest breakdowns always happen because I am not prepared. I plan to plan this time!!

Plus 100 ounces water yeaahhhhh!

B - Jack Cheese Stick from trader joes (I highly recommend)

L - Burger King beef patties (2) with cheese (I was travelling, so it kinda sucked)

D - Two chicken tacos in cheese shells (made my own taco seasoning as well) and a southwest salad with a few tomatos and olives and cheese (made the dressing as well) SOOOO GOOD, oh my goodness....

And 1300oz of water to help wash away the evil cupcake that I ate last night in a moment of weakness....and which caused a serious sugar hangover this morning.

Question for everyone: When making jello, how do you keep it from getting the hard and/or stringy bits? They are so unappetizing to me!!!

Good morning

Your welcome I figure out my menu's every am for the day with the pts and carbs value. Keeps me on task. If I get hungry I look at my menu to see what I can eat. I have also kept a few hard boiled eggs in the frig just incase. Eggs are low carbs and only 2 points each. I count points to make sure my portions aren't too big.

Menu:
B - coffee,hwc,splenda 2pts 2carbs
B - 2 egg,pepper,onion,cheese,salsa 7pts 3carbs
L - chicken taco stuff 2pts 1carbs
L - cucumbers & 1 hard boiled egg 2pts 3carbs
D - italian casserole(5) & side salad (4) 12pts 9carbs
S - coffee,hwc,splenda 2pts 2carbs
Total = 27pts, 20carbs

thanks! i got home for lunch really late so no time for wings, so switched my lunch and dinner put the steak cuts in a pan with soy sauce and garlic salt and had them on lettuce wraps with sour cream and cheddar cheese. was so so so good! definitely a repeat meal

anyone know if soy sauce is a no no on induction?

passion, what diet pill do you use? i have thought about it but i get mild anxiety so when i have used them in the past, it just made me paranoid...

asdf, Doc prescribed phentramine. And yes, it makes me jumpy. I lost my first 11 pounds without it, so I know the ketosis science works without them.

made a great lc quiche. Even the non-lc DH liked it! it had diced zucchini, sage sausage (jimmy dean-on sale) itialian cheese mix, mayo(you can't taste it but it makes the quiche rich) and three eggs. I love mixin up the ingredients with whatever I have in the fridge. ANYWAY: todays meals

B:lc quiche, coffee w/cream
S: two ham rolls with a smidge of cream cheese and green onion inside
L: baked chicken legs and lc coleslaw(this time I used a lime and it was pretty good)
S:boiled egg
D:another slice of lc quiche- cuz i got off work soooo late- some peach jello with a little whipped cream. Now having a cup of "Goodnight" green tea.
I always have a hard time falling asleep on LC. Anyone else have that issue? Gimme some sugar and I'll sleep for DAYS!!! lol!

stringy bits of jello?! Do you cover it or do you set it in the fridge in an open bowl? I put my jello in those little 1/2 cup gladware cups with a lid.

Yea, stringy. And it was strawberry. That's all I'm going to say about that.

I used the quick set method and poured it all into a pyrex clear glass bowl with lid. In the past I used individual small pyrex bowls-I'll go back to doing that again. I like making my own because it is less expensive than the pre-made options.

Thanks! I know if I followed the rules TO THE LETTER that it would be a 'clean' induction and everything - but honestly having to micro-manage every morsel that goes into my daily allotment just is not me lol.

Time will tell.
