I am also trying to kick the coffee habit. Not working out so well. But I am down another 2 lbs today so the coffee isn't impacting me too bad.

everyone! nice to still see you here, passion! hows it going?

well, like i said, i didnt have a plan today, just using up leftovers. tried to mock danish in the microwave, it was okay. then had pork roll&cheese, a little chicken, a little meatloaf and green beans, 2 hot dogs, and a handful of nuts. obviously not an ideal day but not too shabby! already sick of peeing from the water overload but i gotta get my body back into drinking alot more.

alkso i slowly got back on the 2 coffees a day kick too- that ones hard to cut down! but i did it before so i can do again!

better pull something from the freezer for tomorrow....

i dont think im so addicted to the actual caffeine, just that its so yummy, and sometimes I have nothing really to snack on... and i think i go overboard with the splenda and creamer...i put 3 splendas and 2 or 3 tsps creamer...and what is it 1 carb per packet??

oh no, i meant i started with coffee twice a day, then for a good 4 months i only had one cup in the morning- now i slowly crept back to the 2 a day... and to be honestly, my coffee mug is really 16 oz so thats technically 4 cups a day by 4 pm i start getting tired and hungry but its too early to have my dinner so that coffee really helps my appetite- and it gets me up and moving again, in a better mood. but i defintely gotta cut it out. i also started drinking a can of soda a day too- back to decaf diet soda (which doesnt harm me much since i only stick to it once a day as a treat). i seem to lose okay with artificial sweeteners, i know that really hurts some people but luckily i dont have that problem when i stay in a moderate range with them... but yeah, i AM addicted to the caffeine kick plus the sweet kick heh

B- coffee w/ HC & 2 splendas
B- bacon & cheese 'sandwich' (gonna try this out with turkey bacon, see how messy it really is)

L- 3 hard boiled eggs
S- pickle slice, 100 cal mixed nuts ( i think like 2 net carbs)

D- 1 cup mashed cauliflower, leftover meatloaf (almost done my leftovers, yay!)

I need to put some seatbelts in this dang wagon so I'll stop falling off it!! Back in the drivers seat. 6 #'s up this week after a Ca-razy cheat week. Now I'm puffy and tired and crawlling back to my LC WOE. Thank goodness it takes me back each time...really when will I learn that I just can't handle ..."just one cookie"! Ayyyee , but that was yesterday(well, 7 days of yesterdays!) this is today, best place to plan for tomorrow.

Might do the BBQ thing this afternoon. Burgers and italian sausages. Coleslaw and peppers. might even so some stuffed jalepenos on the (charcoal)grill(do you think the bacon will cook up that way?) trying to not use the oven in our little house as we just turned on the a/c. I think I may look into a gas grill for the summer just to keep the cooking outside and the inside cooler.

So far:
3 C coffe w/ crmer(3)
3 eggs w sausage and cheese (2.5)
greens+(2)

my coffee mug is probably about that same size, so it's really like 4 cups a day for me too! anyway....I guess it doesn't really affect me either....I'm down to 176 this morning....I don't have a digital scale....so I don't know how accurate that is....I'll just say it's a 2 lbs. loss!!

thats awesome!

and hi lava, welcome back! guess we are both starting over again at the same time. i love the BBQ idea, wish i knew how to turn it on! (thats the husbands job and he can get a little lazy with it so i should probably learn!)

i stuck preeettty well on the menu plan today- just had that extra coffee i said i was cutting out and the hard boiled eggs turned into egg salad. aaand a serving size of SF chocolate. argh well i realized i have 4 snacks a day now (including coffee) so my plan is to only have 3 snacks tomorrow and slowly work back down to the occasional 1 or 2 a day.... sound good? slow and steady....

Ended up beig way to lazy for bbq plus Beryl is making it windy and threatening rain. I'm having the Induction grumpies and lazies today. I've parked it on the couch most of the day. Just now feeling the twinge of the first headache coming on...I really went crazy on the sugar this week and this is my detox day--that's for sure

I finally figured out how to post an avatar! I don't know why I couldn't figure it out before!! thats my lil young man and my lil old girl(Daisy Dog)

so far today:\

3 eggs(1,5), sausage(0), xthin sliced cheese(3 slc= 1 see below), 3 cups coffe w/crmr(3)
greens+(2)
2 xthin slices cheese(1) with tuna salad(o) rolled up in them
2 chix spinach parm sausages(2)
2 cream cheese clouds(1)
nothing has satified me and that gives me anxiety ..but I know...this too will pass.

Hey there! Sorry I have been quiet lately, my dad came down from SAC this weekend so we have been spending time with all the fam and I wasn't able to get on my comp.

Food for the weekend:

Saturday’s Food:
Brunch: Coffee w/CO, EZ Sweetz & HWC + Mushroom, Bacon & Swiss Omelet
S: String Cheese + Pepperoni
D: 6 oz. Ribeye Steak w/Butter & Gorgonzola Cheese Sauce + Loaded Cauli & Grilled Veggies (Red Bell Pepper, Green Bell Pepper & Mushrooms w/Balsamic and Soy Sauce
S: Caffeine Free Diet Dr. Pepper + 2 Fiber Gummies

Sunday’s Food:
B: Coffee w/CO, EZ Sweetz & HWC + Chicken Omelet
S: Smokehouse Almonds (1 oz.)
L: 12 Buffalo Chicken Wings dipped in Ranch (was the only thing I could find LC at the amusement park we went to)
S: Diet Coke
D: Grilled Salmon w/Sautéed Spinach & Broccoli (Cheesecake Factory)
S: LC Cheesecake (Cheesecake Factory)

It was a challenge avoiding all the high carb temptation while at the Cheesecake Factory...my family ordered spinach and artichoke dip with chips and fried calamari and were eating the bread they set out at the table... But I didn't touch any of it.

Still need to make my menu for the next 2 weeks, but not until tomorrow bc we are getting our pool cleaned out and set up for the summer so I will not have time today, again.

Glad everyone is doing well. I'll try and catch up on the posts as soon as things settle down here.

carbs or net carbs?

I've always kind of taken the "George Stella" approach. Good veges as much as I reasonably want. Just wanted to count both today to see the differnce. Interesting.....

B:2 eggs-overeasy(1), 1/2 chix spinach parm sausage(.5), greens+(2) 3 c coffe(3)
S/L: 4 deviled egg halves(1)
D; lettuce(2/1n), avacado (14/3n),steak(5/2.5n) onions and peppers (6/2n) about 1/4 C sr cream(4), dash hot sauce(0). cheese (1)

41 carbs,,,21 net carbs......

I think I went cream cheese crazy today....
I had a small scoop of cream cheese with my usual breakfast (eggs, bacon)
then later as a snack I had a mock danish (I didn't use the full 2 oz. or whatever the recipe calls for, just a scoop)
and for dinner....I tried the cheesecake pancakes for the first time....woahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh......sooooo good!!! definitely will eat again!
anyway.......I may have gone overboard w/ the cream cheese, and splenda....
on the plus side....I only had one coffee today!

TOM is the reason why I went crazy on the Cream Cheese Muffins. It's amazing how much power he has over us.

Oh...I need your cream cheese pancake recipe. Pretty Please

It's from the Low Carbing Among Friends Cookbook I just ordered, it's on page 247.

I've only made one recipe from it so far, there are SO many good ones to choose from so I have a bunch on my menu plan for the next 2 weeks' dinners.
