I tried that golden milk last night oropendola, very interesting. Tastes like tea. I might actually make that for my night snack instead of eating that jello cup, thanks again for the info on it.

I also ran 3 miles before work, and lifted a little. I would've lifted more, but my body is not used to so little carbs, and I felt faint after only a few sets. I'm hoping that regulates itself soon.

WOE: low carb my way for now
Start Date: May 1st 2012
I like this thread - lots of good ideas for induction...glad to see I'm not the only one struggling to stick to it

B - 2 eggs & 1 white scrambled using non stick spray topped with shredd mozz cheese and pico de gallo and 2 strips of micro ready bacon

L- Micro ready chicken breast with box of Pictsweet brand mixed vegtable medley ( brocoli carrots & red peppers in virgin olive oil and garlic sauce ) this box is 2 servings and 8g carbs for the whole box

Snack - mozz string cheese
Snack # 2 - PB protein bar - 17 g carbs lol

D - Pita bread toasted with shredd cheese and a cut up roma tomato and avocado

YES I know this was too much food!! Honestly I am eating up some things I don't want them to go bad..money IS an issue

It's no problem at all. Adding the liquid smoke is a great idea.

L - Turkey/Cheese roll ups, slice of tomato, lettuce leaf, pickle, mayo
S - Almonds
D - 3 Wafer thin pork chops, asparagus, 1 tablespoon ranch dressing
S - Cream Cheese Muffin

tracyhoch- I want to like Walden Farms, but every product I have tried from them just tastes DISGUSTING! I especially disliked the BBQ sauce, so weird....not even close to BBQ sauce.

Laurelai! So when did you start your journey with LC? Money is certainly tight these days, this is your body and plan so do what you gotta do. All of us are different, there are all sorts of eating plans on this board, just find what's right for you and I'm sure you'll do great!

Wish my dinner would finish cooking...I'm STARVING!!

I have to agree. I have nothing good to say about Walden Farms. I've tried several products and won't buy any of them now.

Someone on the Low Carb grocery list thread said something this week that stuck with me: "I don't see a lot of meat on here for induction" (or something similar). I have been focusing on eating more meat the past several days and it's paying off:

Wednesday:
B: Coffee w/ Splenda and table cream, 2 boiled eggs w/ must, mayo, salt
L: Tuna w/ mayo, lemon peel and celery sticks, pepperoni slices w/ Swiss, water, vit b
S: 2 chicken Vienna sausages, ib pro
D: Eggs, Jimmy Dean sausage, cheddar cheese, bacon
S: Peanuts and wasabi almonds
Water all day, Vit A, C, D, Calcium, E, BC and allergy pills before bed

Thursday:
B: Coffee w/ Splenda and table cream, 1 slice cheddar
S: Another slice cheddar
L: Salad mix w/ chicken, sliced almonds, a few cranberries, blue cheese, vinaigrette dressing
D (I kinda just grazed): ˝ cup cott cheese w/ honey roasted peanuts, pork rinds w/ sour cream and ranch dressing, several slices pepperoni, honey roasted peanuts and a few wasabi almonds, 7 Vienna sausages
Water all day, vit c, BC and allergy pills before bed

on more meat. It's very important so we don't lose as much muscle.

I have to agree with you. I have to make all sauces from scratch because of the chemical taste. I really don't trust the ingredients in the products either.

I know what you mean. I had so much hope with Walden Farms and was so diappointed! Do not try the peanut butter what ever you do! Threw it away. As well as the marshmellow fluff and choc. sauce, TRASHED!. I would rather do without forever. Really.
Zero calories and carb and fat= no taste or chemical taste!
