Actually we had left to go to our son's baseball banquet and he thought he had left them there. Luckily, he had dropped them in our driveway and our neighbor had picked them up.

Maria has a couple waffle recipes on her Nutritious and Delicious site. I've only tried the one with flax (it was yummy), I think the other uses Almond flour and is 1g of carbs per waffle, I haven't tried that one yet. I love her recipes, I just received the new Low Carb Among Friends cookbook and there are so many of hers in there that I'm dying to make.

Google Maria's Nutritious & Delicious Journal and it should bring you right to it.

Another HOT day out at the baseball field. But I am on top of the world today. I have been averaging about 1 lb a week loss and this week I lost 3 lbs. I think giving up on my 5 year hiadous of not each beef or pork actually worked to my benefit. This is allowing me to get more fat intake.

B- 5 thin pieces of bacon, 2 scrambled eggs, toasted oopie roll, coffee, cream, splenda
L- Turkey/cheese sandwich on oopsie roll, lettuce, tomato, mayo
D- Homemade Zaxby's Blue Salad (made with buffalo chicken tenders in pork rind breading) Delish!!!!
S- Cream Cheese Muffin, whipped cream, almonds

Total Carbs: 24.0 Fiber: 3.7 Net Carbs: 20.3

The Blue Salad was an experiment that turned out really well. I will be making this again.

Good job Mrshill! The Blue salad sounds really good.

My weight was all over the place last week since I started an exercise program (I think) but I made it through with a 1 lb loss for the week in the end, not bad considering it had gone up to 160 on Friday and back down to 155.8 today.

Today's food:
B: Strawberry Banana Egg Cream w/ 2 Strips of Bacon
S: Deviled Eggs + 2 Fiber Gummies
L: Tuna w/Mayo
S: Deviled Eggs
D: Roasted Chicken + 4 Fried Eggs

Hi! I'm new on here. Im not sure, but I think I stuck to induction well today.
B: 2 eggs, 3 bacon strips
S: Atkins bar (peanut butter)
L: cheese (just wasn't hungry for mor)
S: chicken leg
D: chicken breast, spinach salad w low carb Caesar dressing.

I think i had about 1300 calories, and very few carbs. The only ones I had were in the Atkins bar and the spinach. I know I'm not supposed to count calories. Old habits die hard.
Any help would be appreciated... I just want to be sure I'm on the right track. Thanks!

Laureng!

Some people still count calories also, I eyeball it but I'm not sure where I stand on that issue yet. I like to keep more of an eye on my sodium, I've never liked consuming a whole lot of salt.

Is this your very first day of induction? Your food looks good. There's so much info on here, if you're looking for something in particular or need any help let us know and we can do our best to point you in the right direction.
