Start Date: This time, February 18, 2012.
Tummy was fine today, so we took our trip to my neice's graduation.

B 2 beef hot dogs w/ cheese & LC tortilla
L bunless grilled chicken club w/ extra LTM; Also discovered I like unsweetened tea plain. (I'm a southern girl, so it was always sweetened w/ S&L) 4 McD french fries
S We forgot to pack nuts, so we shared a pack of peanut butter nabs
D Burger steak, salad w/ranch, turnip greens, green beans (bless you, cracker barrell!)
S peanuts, dark chocolate, yummy diet root beer from Cracker Barrell!

Breakfast bar in the hotel in the morning. I asked the clerk what they would offer in the way of LC eating. She said they had lots of protein and fruit. LOL I'll tell you tomorrow!

hey everyone, remember me? had a crazy last month of school plus taking care of my two boys... this upcoming week is finals so ill probably go missing again but after that, ill be around alot this summer! so where's everyone at with their weight loss? sometimes people don't update stats or whatnot so give me an update, ive fallen behind!

me, ive been maintaining/losing slightly because of school- no unplanned cheating though so im happy with my progress. i have been on low carb since January and started at 185. i just did the 160 mark so im completely fine with that! not too far from my goal now

well update me on whats going on with you, and ill see ya's in a week!

So good ,to hear from you again asdf! Glad things have been going steady. I know it can be rough staying on track with things are hectic. I'm working on taking off the 2# I gained after a week long carb fest...ahhh but thats life! Good luck with finals! We will be looking forward to more updates once you're done!!

Making a grocery list tonight so just using what I have today - a little short on veges.

had a frustrating Sunday: got into arguement with DH over car payments, clutch went out in the middle of US1( had to drive home in 2nd gear the whole way!) then when I got home and prepared to go grocery shopping (in my car-not Dh's truck!) couldn't find my bank card. We looked for HOURS. I had to call it in and freze the card. So no groceries---and I'm out of everything! thats my excuse and I'm sticking to it!!

B/L: coffee with crmr, atkins bar
: 5 pieces dove chocolate/smll container bread pudding(in the midst of it all!- looking for anxiety relief)
D: pork chops (dusted in whlwht flour), 1/2 c lipton noodles, 1/2 up leftover frid rice, 1/4 corn
after dinner : cp of decaf, 2 slices banana strawberry bread with crm cheese

I've been doing induction since April 18th and have lost only 7 pounds. I have NO cheats, so I think I must be doing something wrong. If I post my menus, can someone please let me know what I am doing wrong?

Okayyyyy... I've read several Dr. A books the past decade, and have been following low carb since January. True, I've been falling off the wagon recently, but I also seem to still be making rookie mistakes. Someone asked on this forum recently if there are carbs in cinnamon, so, I just looked it up. Yup. Sure enough, the cinnamon I've been "dashing" into my morning coffee the past month or so has carbs in it. Sure, it's a minute amout, but still... Grrr...

Yesterday:
B: Coffee w/ Splenda, milk (we are still out of HWC) and cinnamon, 2 boiled eggs w/ must, mayo, s&p
S: String cheese
L: Tuna, mayo, cucumber slices, s&p, water, vit b

I'll have to remember the cinnamin carb count when baking. But I don't think a sprinkle in the coffee will derail. In fact cinnamin has a metabolism increasing quality..... And I'm not about to follow the new fad of trying to swallow a spoonful of cinnamin and then u-tubing it.. NUTS!
I have had carb creep do need to count for a llittle bit

B: 3 eggs (1.5) 3 slc 0 carb turkey bacon, 2 ups coffee w/ 4 T crmer (4) greens+(2)
s: 8 low sod pepperoni w. smidge cm cheese in the center (1)
L: sauteed chicken (0) with 1/2 C broccoli(4), NHO margarine, 1/4 C cheese(1)
D: lettuce(2), hamburger with chile and cumin (hmmmmm if cinnamin has carbs wonder if other spices do to?), 1/4 tomatoes w chile peppers(2), 1/2 c cheddar(2), sour cream (4)

23 carb- not bad.

L: sauteed chicken (0) with 1/2 C broccoli(4), NHO margarine, 1/4 C cheese(1)
D: salmon broiled with butter, garlic and lemon(1? considering the lemon and garlic)

13.....hmmmm maybe splurge on a LC dessert tonight?
