WOE: atkins induction
Start Date: 1/5/12
ive been slacking on the follow through with these plans but here goes:

B- coffee w HC & 2 splendas
B- egg & sausage from DD (throw again the other parts )

L- 2 turkey burgers, no cheese!

D- spinach quiche (ok, alot of cheese but its my only cheese of the day!

so for me, thats not alot of food. might have 2 piece of quiche or if im only having 1 might plan one other small meal/snack. maybe make up some hard boiled eggs

heard someone on these threads had a rule that their only past dinner snack was hard boiled eggs- i like that. once you make something like that a rule it makes it easier to follow (gotta follow something that has no choice right?) maybe that will be my rule tonight

thanks guys for the support, dont think i say that enough... but i dont talk to anyone else really about atkins, even my husband has moved onto his p90x diet so we cook separate meals now (aka more leftovers for meeee!)

OMG sometimes i cook something sooo good and soooo low carb that i don't want to share with the family. LOL> especially when either it's quick or it took awhile. I always hide some in a small container for lunch the next day. otherwise when my hubby comes home he cleans house. I'm loving trying new ideas. made bacon wrapped "meatloaf" last night. heaven!

B: must be hungry! 2 eggs, 3 sausage, 4 bacon! omg i won't eat til lunch. and coffee with hc and sf syrup.

L: slice of meatloaf wrapped in bacon, salad: spring mix, spinach, slice of avocado, cherry tomatos (5) slice of green pepper, cheese, bleu cheese, ranch dressing, cucumber

D: chicken patty, and or kielbasa.

trying to shake of the few pounds i realized i gained. so 207.3 was just a number in the wind. I went up to 211. hoping it has to do with TOM too. another day, another day of eating well, another pound lost.

D: LC ground beef and caul bake
S: LC choc praline bark, hot unsweetend decaf tea
Water all day, vit c, d, flaxseed, calcium, allergy and BC pills before bed

Hang in there peeps! One meal at a time.

I really love the New Revolution Rolls because when your not using them for burgers or sandwiches, they actually crisp up in the microwave, something no bread could do, and with butter and sugar free syrup, they are on par with some of the best pancakes I've had! Such a treat!

And if you haven't made Daniel Boulad's braised red wine and mustard short ribs, your seriously missing out! Very minimal ingredients with huge flavor! I throw the left overs in spinach/spring mix salad with some of the residual sauce and a little mayo and I am in heaven! You can search for his recipe on seriouseats.com. Enjoy!

ChocoPerfection has a lovely dark chocolate that's low carb, if it's the sugar making you sigh.

I wouldn't make it without my hot tea. I found a great Blood Orange Chocolate tea at Cost Plus World Market. It's expensive so every bag gets 2 dunks. I boil 24 oz water, pour in a large measuring cup and steep for 10 minutes then pour into 2 mugs. YUM.

It was me. They are doctor prescribed. I would ask a doctor or other medical professional.

ETA: I lost my first 11 pounds without them, and don't take them every day.

Oh, it's pretty! Thank you for the link, oro. I know what my next "spluge" on myself is going to be! I've sure come a long way from the caloric, carb-laden orange grande mocha days.

whew alot of posts! seems like everyone is doing pretty good. Challenge of the day: 3 hr lecture where light refreshments will be. i will get a hot tea to sip on but my concern is the lecture goes until 6:30. im an early dinner eater so thats going to be tough for me to get through, because im sure light refreshments means bagels and cookies or something (seems thats the trend). so i hope i can resist... plus im nervous about this lecture since a professor will be introducing me to someone for volunteer opportunities and i get anxiety about the silliest of things... and i got a new outfit which i dont feel comfortable in grrr cant wait until im 150!!

anyway wish me luck!

You'll do great. Take a couple Laughing Cow wedges already peeled and a bran crispbread in your purse. Or a protein shake in a water bottle. You already have luck, you carry it around everywhere you go.

It's tradition in our house to have malted eggs at Easter. I knew what I was doing when I bought them, ate half, gave the rest to DH, and now I will move on.

well Oro i thought of you there- they had those cheese wedges/ wheels! hehe i grabbed 2 of them and avoided the chocolate covered strawberries, crackers, and other fruit. they didnt even have coffee! if you are going to have a 3 hr lecture, it should be mandatory to have coffee! anyway, i did good! unfortunately i had to have dinner up at school too so i just had a salad and crossed my fingers on the ranch dressing, not sure the brand they had. but im down this morning!

thanks for caring. i dont have internet access on my phone so i couldnt vent out their food choices but honestly, it wasnt that bad

pooped today, goal is to just get by!
