Had a bit higher carbs than normal but very healthy carbs! No flour no sugar. For those of ya'll in the south-WinnDixie has Atkins shakes/bars BOGO (plus I had $1 coupons off each one so I got a GREAT DEAL (yes I am a coupon junkie)

B: 2 eggs overeasy, 3 thin slices bacon, 2 slc ezekial bread with smartbalance, greens +, 2 C coffee w/ crmr

s: 4 LF triscuits, 2 slices Dubliner cheese

S: wasabi and soy almonds( soooooo gooood!)

S: 4 bits atkins pnutbttr/choc bar (I cut about 3/4 inch off the bar and cut that up into 4 peices. I was having a sweet craving- that knocked it out!)

GRILLFEST:
Grilled salmon (hubster had grilled chicken), grilled zucchinni, yellow squash and mushrooms, grilled spinach (in oil and garlic) and grilled pineapple.

Dinner: chicken alfredo (with pasta for the family) extra chicken for me.
In addition to the above.....I've found myself snacking today. too lazy to make a salad or a meal. LOL. Just made the alfredo and before i knew what i was doing poured all the sauce in the pasta!!!doh! left some chicken aside for my dinner but no sauce! i'll probably save it for my salad tomorrow. or eat it tonight. Otherwise dinner looks great for everyone else..

snacks have been a slice of cheese here and there. Oh, i did have half an artichoke with mayo for snack. See i'm forgetting im eating. NOt enough protein to keep me going. and not enought water today either. it's rainy and cold and i'm bored. Did not add up the carb count. Looking for a sweet and i made the minute muffin to get me through. I double the recipe and cut it into 4ths. So i just ate a piece with butter. I think i'll do a premade hamburger patty protein style for dinner and save the chicken for my salad tomorrow.

Well, i'm up 2 lbs!!! didn't follow a good enough meal plan this weekend and it showed on the scale today. Didn't necessarily go over in carbs but not enough protein or water. Today i will up both in my diet.

b: 3 eggs, 3 sausages coffee with HC - 605 cal. 6 carbs (they were maple sausage I know but they were the last 3 i had and didn't have anything else to eat)
workout 30 min. 345 cal. burned!!
s: actually not really hungry. breakfast filled me up. glass of water
L: chicken on romaine/spinach with cheese, blue cheese crumbles, cherry tomato and buttermilk ranch dressing. (wished i hardboiled some eggs this weekend)
s: cauliflower crust pizza - one slice.
d: chicken or hamburger patty('s)

Those of you eating hamburger patties - sometimes 2 at a time are they homemade or frozen? Mine are frozen and fully cooked 320 cal each. That would be over 700 cal if i ate two and more if i added cheese. Just asking. I know we shouldn't be counting calories too much but to be over 2000 a day just seems like too much for me.

Luv, good for you for not cheating!!! I understand re: the beer. For me it's the vodka.

After reading this forum, I've noticed some people cut back on cheese, other dairy products and/or nuts when their weight loss stalls. IDK if it's the calories or the carbs. Our bodies are interesting to say the least.

My pleasure. I'm doing pretty good. I'm back to my weight when I began JUDDD but I'm down 6 inches. They were right about the scale bouncing. No complaints though. My cloths are fitting much looser.

My reasoning is that i know myself and after 6 weeks of induction I always give up and give in. So I'm kinda tweeking it as I go. It's really kind of like a advanced OWL phase. What I am beginning to realize is that it probably is what Dr Atkins intended his plan to end up looking like. Weight loss is slowing 2 pounds or less a week but it feels much more sustainable than in the past.
I still do not eat flour, sugar, rice/most grains, potatoes. But I have added steel cut oats, greek yogurt(plain), and lower carb fruits (berries and canteloupe). I also allow myself ezekial bread once or twice a week.(with my over easy eggs which i still adore!)I found posting meals really helps me keep on track so if you don't mind I'd like to continue here with the friends I made.

B: steel cut oats w/ half cut up apple, 1/4 cup greek yogurt, cinnimon, squeeze of agave nectar, 2 cup coffee wth half and half, greens +

s: cup of canteloupe and berries

L: spinach salad with last of leftover steak (we had a grill fest thursday night!), cup of cauliflower/shrimp bisque ( i added some shrimp to Lindas cauli bisque and it's delish!)

D: ??? going to the fair. Eeeeekkk!!!! Fair food- gotta stay away from the evil funnel cakes!! maybe some pulled pork or sausage and peppers? we'll see!

I use the powder from konjacfoods. I began ordering from them in 2006. They ship out right away and I can get many different noodle types from them too.

I use the powder for gravy, pudding, jello, baking.

Your husband and my dad. ugh. My hubby had high BP so I don't even cook with salt. A corned beef doesn't happen here unless I get it sliced at the deli. Then I'm like a puffed pastry. LOL Water retention city!

If you had corned beef and were down on your water, the entire 2 pounds could be water weight. Up your water again and give it a couple days to shake out.

BTW .55 times your weight is the generally accepted amount of water you should have per day. That works much better at 204 than it did when I weighed 333.

I understand. Yesterday morning I had a 3 hour class. I sat near the back so I could slip out (5 times). lol By 10:00 I had 33 oz water and 2 cups of tea...what was I thinking?!?! Stay on plan, stay on plan. Sometimes I'm too much even for me. The 5 hour drive home from Monterey was easier. I didn't count the number of stops we had to make.

s: 2 pecans and 2 strawbwrries(while prepping dinner)

We stopped at Chili's on the way home yesterday. Did you know the Trio Fajitas (Grilled steak, chicken and spicy garlic and lime shrimp) are 530 calories? I had it for lunch and dinner and still had chicken left over. No tortillas, no sour cream or guacamole. It was a yummy DD.

Thanks for the glucomannan tips! I'm making my next shopping list. BTW, we bought a new bathroom scale. Sure enough, I weigh 5 lbs more than the old scale says. But at least it's moving down from what it was!

I ate like a pig today. I was in a foul mood, nothing was going quite like I planned, and I ate my feelings. Or just didn't listen to my body saying how full I was!

B 1 cup homemade greek yogurt, 3 eggs, 2 bacon, ACV water, CO coffee
L fried mushrooms w/ranch (Picked off the bread) Huge salad w grilled chicken cheese and tons of ranch, diet soda
S pork rinds and diet soda
D bunless bacon cheese and mushroom burger, steamed green beans w/ blue cheese dressing and hot sauce
S large piece of pumpkin/chocolate/almond meal snack cake and SF powerade

All of it is on plan, but WAYYY too much food and not enough water. I have to eat less, order from kids' meals, split the order w/ DBF or box up half of it right away. I bet I gain a pound or two back from all that food!

I feed myself better when not eating out, but I can control myself better than this! Another day, another chance to choose.

Yep, if I were strictly low carb I would have. But it was a 500 calorie day on JUDDD so I had to refrain. I did take both home and will have it as leftovers.
