You would think after seeing countless pics & recipes of oopsies that I would give it a try; that sandwich looks great & just might be the motivation I need to try whipping up a batch

Maybe you already know that the original recipe calls for cream cheese but for a paleo version, mayo can be used to replace the cheese.

New baby here and don't wanna miss out on some great recipe ideas! My biggest issues right now are my picky pallet and a slow start despite my efforts. I'm tired of eating the same things over and over, so this thread certainly makes me want to expand my pallet!! Thanks!

Besides the baby we are in the same boat ..I am picky I am eating the same things and the weight loss hasnt been great. Very, Disheartening but the energy I have is wonderful...going to try my hardest to keep on! Almost 2 weeks and pretty much perfect been in ketosis the whole time maybe a sip of coke or stuck my finger in my nephews cupcake lol but thats it! I think I am going to cut out cheese as much as possible from now on.

JustJessie, how do you know if you are in ketosis? I've heard people talk about metallic taste in their mouth, etc, but I haven't had any of that.

I bought Ketostix from CVS about $12.00 for a whole lot of them...Some people say they aren't very accurate but I know when I am not on this plan that the stix show I am not in ketosis so they are true somewhat. I do have a weird taste in my mouth its better now though the first week was bad. Also I am not hungry all signs you are in ketosis.

That sounds like a great deal. You can make it even "greater"....cut each stick into 2 long strips...double the deal

I had the slight metallic taste the 1st time I did induction. Now, I seem to have a constant mildly sweet taste; odd.

Jacki - it seems to have slowed way down - maybe everyone is feeling "seasonal affective" and spend most of the time wishing for spring. I know I am!

I'm no longer on induction, but more of a modified high protein/lower carb. But looking at the recipes here still gives me great inspiration!

Same here,Kristopia. I like to browse all the food threads from time to time for new ideas and this one has always been one of my favorites.
