It all looks great - what's the sauce in the mushroomy chickeny dish? That looks awesome!

<---------- Newbie here.
I'm starting Atkins Thursday. I kinda did it today but had a cookie this morning at work :/ they were there. I can't go grocery shopping till tomorrow.
I've read SO many recipes and printed them out!!! I'm kind of excited.
I've been eating everything in sight for like 3 mos now. I don't have access to a scale as of right now. I wrote 190 in my profile. I'm thinking it's closer to 200. I'm only 4'9". I'm so not happy with myself and my 41 year old body is feeling awful as well.
I'm scared. I don't want to fail this one. I have to get healthy. I've pretty much quit smoking (1 a day usually) and drinking (having a couple tonight in anticipation..lol).
So, I guess I'll get a scale and a tape measure. :/
I literally work 7 days a week and 3 of them are 7:30am-7pm. I need easy, yummy, quick food that refrigerates well and reheats for leftovers...lol!! I'm going to work on a menu for my week tomorrow, and see if that helps me get on this and get going.
I'm babbling.

It's the innards of a stuffed meat pizza! I could eat the insides because there was NO tomato sauce. It was dressed with olive oil. =D

The contents of the eggs are as follows; Italian sausage, pepperoni, and a little bit of mozzarella! The sausage on the side is Kielbasa (burnt) my fav!

ok so now the no bake cheesecake is in the fridge. I added SF Raspberry syrup and a bit of raspberry extract to the recipe. I wanted to swirl it but no good on that it's just a touch too thick. Will have to do a baked cheesecake for that. And yes I cheated a lil bit, I used an almond flour crust. He went off plan today and has no plan to come back, so everything has to be shareable. At least it's only a lil cheat not a big one. Will take pics when it comes out of the mold tonight.

Also have the lc muffins in the oven. To get around the bitter of a swirled chocolate/vanilla muffin I added guess what... SF chocolate syrup and cocoa with a bit of extra sweetener... tasted so good might make plain chocolate ones next time. I think I really love these syrups! Now I'm gonna have to buy more... found a recipe for a coconut cream pie that can be low carb..... sounds wonderful.

I think I have big time cooking out of my system until next weekend... never know though.

Yum!

I wasn't really that hungry when I started looking at this thread, just trying to figure out something I could make for dinner (that would work for me and my husband who normally only eats pizza/steak/fries - men. )

Now it's an hour later and I still haven't started cooking but I am definitely hungry now! Everything looks delicious! Off to the grocery store!!

Omg, I just love looking at food porn!!! There are so many great ideas on here, its the first place to look for thinspiration!

I made these burgers the other day - thick and juicy beef burgers, topped with double gloucester cheese (like a mild cheddar) then put half a sauteed onion on top, a bunch of sauteed mushrooms and topped with some sour cream.... Mmmmm, accompanied by a pea shoot salad with vinagrette, yum! I'm going to call them my Stroganoff burger.

I can't get my photo to upload but trust me, it looked so good I made like a food stylist and captured it before it was gone. Will try again later to upload!

Gunga~It's your choice of cheese...Jack/Swiss/Cheddar etc. I chop up either fresh or pickled jalapenos on a plate, add Jimmy Dean sausage crumbles (the easiest or whatever sausage), layer the cheese slices or shredded, sprinkle on cumin, chile powder & some oregano. Cover w/Pam sprayed parchment or wax paper (cheese kind of sticks on the saran wrap). Or if using a bowl...saran will work. Stick it in the Nuker until cheese is melted & that's it! In the pic below...I was craving lots of sausage. I usually have more Cheese & less Sausage! LOL!

Subscribing!

I everyone--I'm new here!

A little intro..........My name is Abbie and i'm an 18 year old young lady, and have been diagnosed with PCOS.

I've lost 20 pounds by doing Induction.

And I've been doing atkins for about 3 weeks now, and LOVING it! My whole family is doing it with me, and they are the greatest support group. Btw, I'm still on induction.

I've been a lurker for some time, and I thought it was finally time to become "known"!

So HIYA!

Oh, and you all have me drooling over all the food porn.....

This is so easy and induction friendly...

Chicken Fingers with mustard sauce.

Cut skinless, boneless chicken breasts into strips, dip in beaten egg and roll in crushed pork rinds then cook in bacon fat until crispy and cooked through. Mustard sauce is just dijon mustard mixed with a bit of mayo and a couple of drops of liquid sucralose. I love black pepper so I added some to the pork rinds. I don't like pork rinds at all but when crushed and used in this way, I find them totally different and I love them!!
