The pinwheels are skirt steak with spinach and parm cheese wrapped up in them, use cooking twine to hold em together. U can usually find them pre made in many stores.
And yes, that's butter I recently started working at a beef packing co. And not only get the BEST fresh steaks and hamburgers, I get an amazing deal ![]() |

I bought them pre-made at the store, but it's just flank steak with spinach and parm cheese mixed with olive oil then wrapped in the meat. Use cooking twine to hold it all together. They are melt in your mouth GOOD!
I've seen them in every store I've been to. In the cold cases next to the special cut steaks and stuff like premade stuffed pork chops. |

Sauce Help!
Hi everybody! I just joined LCF today. This will be my second time giving the LC a go!
One of the main questions I have is that a lot of people seem to use sauces on the Induction Food Porn thread- BBQ and red sauces- but I can't seem to find any that are low in carbs! Any suggestions would be SUPER appreciated! ![]() |

I found a delicious and super convenient recipe on here! I believe the original recipe called for ground sausage, but I don't like sausage so I used ground turkey instead. Sautee 1lb of ground turkey with chopped onion (to taste). After it is browned, divide it into the cups of a muffin tin so that they are filled most of the way (the original recipe I had found said it would make 6, but I found that it made 12. I do speculate that my muffin tin is shallow though!). Sprinkle some cheddar cheese on top. Mix up 4 eggs and about a half cup of half and half or heavy cream, and then slowly pour it into the cups. The egg binds everything together. I believe I baked them on 350 for about 30 minutes, but keep an eye on them and pull them once they start to brown slightly on the top. Make sure to season everything as you please. Plain old ground turkey, eggs, and a little cheese can be pretty bland!!! These freeze REALLY well, so I have been pulling out two and defrosting them every morning for breakfast with a bit of sour cream. They are DELICIOUS! |

Not the prettiest pictures, but I made flax crackers.
2x OMM recipe, minus sweet fillings, plus green can parmesan, garlic powder, and some cayenne + 1-2 T water Pour out onto a pan lined with a silicone baking mat. Wet your hands and spread it as thin as you can without it being see-through. 425 degree oven for 10 minutes or so. At that point it should be set enough to remove, and score/cut with a pizza wheel or paring knife/bench scraper. Back into over for 10-15 more minutes. Turn off oven, remove pan, turn over crackers, and put back into oven for 10-15 more minutes to dry out. I've had them with homemade pesto dip (pesto, parm, mayo), artichoke jalapeno dip (from costco), and last night, baked goat cheese (goat cheese in a ramekin with good olive oil in the oven for 10 minutes or so) ![]() ![]() ![]() |
