Okay, I need encouragement AND courage to start induction again. GOT to lose these pounds that have crept up on me and just will not leave. So coming here to get encouragement and meal ideas. Just the thoughts of endless scrambled eggs for breakfast, bowls of lettuce for lunch, and a hamburger for supper makes me want to run for the hills. BUT I refuse to gain back what I lost to begin with on LCing. So I will go through this thread page by page and try my best to stay off of the recipe pages.

NO NO NO... Steaks are TO LIVE FOR.
BAD carbs are to DIE for. I cannot thank all the HEWMONS who contribute pix and recipes. I shall be visiting this thread quite often, once I retire(5 months and 3 days from now). Love & Profits: FLATFERENGHI

I know that,
Somedays I know I am not quite all here but I had never heard of that kind of eating, eat fish and shellfish but not meat. And for some reason that statement he wrote is not there anymore. ![]() |

I just made a batch of meatballs that clock in at .1g net carbs each. 2lbs beef makes 36 meatballs, so with the eggs and cheese, I'd say you're about 1oz per meatball.

I cut off the tail shells w/scissors. Start cutting underneath the tail. Then bend back the shell ends to help release the tail and slowly peel off the tail from the shell. Then, I butterfly (cut underneath the tails) down the middle to loosen up the tail so it won't curl up when its broiling. Place on a pan, season with Garlic powder or rub w/fresh garlic, pepper, drizzle olive oil or butter on top, squeeze lemon on top, sprinkle w/paprika & broil until done (opaque). Depending of size of tail...broil from 5 to 10 minutes. Melt some butter seasoned w/garlic & lemon & serve on the side for dipping & garnish w/Lemon rounds.
