Induction phase, sample menus!
I just started induction yesterday, going strong so far. I'd like to post what my meal plan is and have some others post theirs, just so I can see how i'm doing.
About me: I'm 23, male, and currently 5'7", 200lbs. I'm looking to lose about 20 pounds, all in my gut and face!
My breakfasts are 2 eggs, fried or boiled. Lunches are a broiled chicken breast with a tiny salad (1c) and Dinners are either more chicken breast with a tiny salad or some steak cooked in butter. At night, if it's been more than 6 hours since my dinner and i'm starving I'll have 2 more hard boiled eggs.
Just want to know if my late night snacking (on approved foods) is going to be a hinderance, or if it's okay. Also, should I be eating more? Snacks?

Hi! I am also new to this and have been on induction for almost two weeks and losing! My menu looks like this:
Yesterday I ate:
B - Breakfast quiche
L - Salad w/ grilled chicken, hard boiled egg, arugula, cesar dressing and olives
D - OMG YUMMY! Chicken breast w/ blackening seasoning stuffed w/ cheddar and bacon, salad of cucumbers and radishes w/ ranch dressing
Snack - Atkins bar
(taken from my journal)
I'm sure the experts will jump in here soon. It almost seems like you aren't eating enough. Are you by chance tracking your food with a program like ******?

There's a bunch on this board. And, I always ate when I was hungry, the first time around, and I lost loads. I *tried* not to overdo it at night, but there were plenty of times, starting off, that I did.

And, I love Linda Sue's recipe site too. My favorite induction recipe right now is her White Castle Pie. I could live on that stuff. I make it using different kinds of ground meat (beef, veal, pork, crumbled sausage) and cheeses, to switch things up a bit.
