Hi Ladies! I'm baaack! When state side for a week now and just getting settled in. Will be moving into our new place Saturday, so a little down time before then...living at the parents in the meantime.
JAMI! OMG GIRL! I havne't emailed you back yet...sorry, things got crazy, my bff came to visit in Portugal, then was the end of the course, chaos going on..packing, cleaning...traveling. YOU LOOK FABULOUS! I'm so jealous! Is this the results from your BFL dedication? Making me want to dust off my copy! So inspiring. I want your arms!

I'm ashamed to admit that I fell off the wagon big time in Portugal. Was doing so well at first. I'm at 141. Yup...almost back to those lovely "before" pictures I posted in Feb. I was 146 in those. I've been doing an induction since I got home and the scale isn't budging. Maybe stress? New climate (25+ degrees colder!)? I don't know.

I hope to catch up and read about how you all are doing.

thank you! Yes BFL.. I just finished it on Tuesday.. It was fun! Im getting ready to start my next challenge on May 17th.. I am taking 2 weeks off from dieting. Still eating clean as heck, but at 2200 calories to get my metabolism for diet mode again, and one week vaca from the gym which is killing me. But its been 3.5 months since I missed a workout..
So, Where is the house? Did you decide to move to Arizona?

down 3 pounds now - tg! i ate some last night i shouldnt have and was sooo scared i would be up a pound or something lol...

mica - dont beat yourself up girlie - your were on vacation (im assuming) and you were eating those awesome foreign foods... its ok. just keep up the good work

Good morning everyone! Well I really do think that 170 is my glass "floor" since I can't seem to get past that number. Today the scale read 170.2! This is down from yesterday ... but still wish I would have seen that 169 instead.

Good Morning all you Lovely people

I hope you are all going to wake up happy, healthy and content (and rushing to the loo because of all the water you drank )

Am a very happy boy today, after putting off weighing for some time and having a few( okay, okay a lot) of drinks since my last weigh in, I approached the scale with trepidation under the watchful eye of the Clinic sister and joy!
I am actually down 5 pounds- just goes to show what a positive effect Merlot has on me

Tara, time to brace yourself for that third drink ! Merlot is my new diet aid
Seriously though, I'm thrilled that my boring old eating is still proving effective if a trifle slow for my liking.

Unfortunately, the margaritas don't usually work as a diet aid --- of course, if I have the third or fourth, I would probably be too sick to keep anything on my stomach --- definitely not the way I would prefer to lose weight --- but if I don't break through my plateau soon I may try it. jk. Scale is at 171 this morning

Martiangurl, I am a lightweight when it comes to alcohol ... Last time I did tequila shots I was in my early 20s and while I think I enjoyed the night .... the next morning was a killer!

Thanks for the welcome back! I've been kind of down & out because of my gain...+in the middle of a move, so been busy. Started back on plan Monday @ 146.8, and today was 140.6. Pretty happy with that! Yup---Back to my HWC lattes!!! YUM! And ChaLean Extreme. Missed her!
With my weight training I am going to carb-load on Sunday's. Then at the end of June I'm thinking of starting a round of BFL...I mean, look at what it did for Jami! How could you not believe in it?! I need to mentally get to the mid-135s to start from there. I was still pretty soft at 127, so I think the carbs will help increase my energy & muscle growth. Okay now rambling, but good to be back. =)

My friend and I love these!! I use the pink lemonade drink mix, just a personal preference, but any flavor that I've used is GREAT!! Thought this may help! Not that we want to have these all the time (okay, we WANT to, but won't) but if you're going to have a little celebration, it may as well be low carb, huh??

good morning everyone and a happy friday to ya!!

Day1 re-induction is over and gone!! and I survived.. if I can make it through day 1 I can make it through the rest.. right?

Yesterday morning I was 172.
I ate.. bacon.. sausage.. water, diet pepsi, coffee... then, cheeseburger patty, pork rinds..

Today's weight 169.
I plan on having.. stuffed bell peppers, grilled chicken breast and ribeye steak (leftover) not sure when throughout the day but this is what I have cooked.. and tonight is a birthday party for a family friend's 2 year old.. I will make sure to eat before I go over there!!

I didn't even get on the scale this morning. Ate ok yesterday but am still feeling bloated and miserable (thanks TOM) ... so I decided there was no reason for me to get on the scale. Will brave it tomorrow instead.

Hello ladies, and Alan!

I didn't realize we were still posting on this thread. Usually I just look for the motivation one that Olivia started. Good to know our private thread is still up and running. And look- Mica's back!!

Well I'm sitting here at work, waiting to go home. I can't believe I have access to this site on my computer, but it's nice so I'm not complaining Staying OP at work is kinda hard- we have all these gym bunnies, etc, who work here and I hear them every now and then making fun of Atkins and stuff. So I try to avoid eating around them. The other bad thing is that I have my PT test in a week, and I'm pretty sure I'm going to fail. I'm trying as hard as I can, but I dont' think it was enough. There are some pretty rough ramifications but I'm hoping that they don't cancel my trip to California. I can deal with the other stuff, but that would just SUCK the big green wienie....

Anyway, that's about it for now. I need some new recipe ideas.. as well as some easy stove-top recipes that I'll be able to do in Cali (fingers crossed). We won't have access to a kitchen, but we might have a stove-top burner in our room. It would really suck to have to eat out every night. Once in a while as a treat is nice, but it gets old after a while, you know?

Hey! Yes, I'm baaack. Unfortunately for some reasons, but missed you gals!

The rotel dish is super easy...just brown ground beef, add cream cheese & a can of rotel. Wala! Super fast. Or pan fry a steak...shrimp...saute' a chicken breast (diced) w/ bell peppers, mushrooms, add heavy cream, salt & pepper---yum! Just got prepared...find some easy recipes online you can bring along. =)

Down to 139.4 today! 7lbs since Monday....gosh I love this. No counting (I don't count my carbs actually..), no measuring, no starving!
