Thanks! Other than my weight loss on LC since Nov. last year, I hadn't seen that number since 2003 when I quickly passed it...in the wrong direction! Goes to show it's never too late, and having kids really isn't an excuse anymore. =)

We're sick at home today. I hope I'm better by Monday because I have two of my fav clients! Ended up making stuffed peppers last night which were soooo good! Tonight, BLT wraps. I've had a hard time eating eggs since being back. Nothing compares to the fresh ones I was having there! There was a bit of PB left in the jar (the devil!) so decided to get it out of the way and eaten, so had DS help me make PB cheesecake balls for after dinner.
Quiet around here...hope everyone is well!

Okay, I'll go ahead and post here too. I have 5-6 LC items left from my order from Netrition (unopened) that I can't take with me to Cali. If anybody wants them, I'm willing to pack them up and mail them to you. I just don't want to waste them. Whoever PMs me first with an address, I'll send them to you!

Good Morning Ladies
Very happy to see that this poor thread has not been totally deserted!

I've been away with work for the last few days and have really missed everyone, on top of it all I had a few days of eating like a pig and drinking far to much. I have been in 4 hotels in the last few days and been entertained at numerous functions. For some reason my willpower just evaporated and now I feel very guilty and sorry for myself.

So happy to be back - Day 1 of induction today( yet again)

Now going to read everyones posts and get motivated.

Wishing everyone a fantastic day.

Hey Mica!

It was some thick/not-thin, a couple of Davinci syrups, and some "bread" mixes. One of the gals on a different thread PMed me this weekend, so I'll send it to her sometime this week. Sorry How are you doing, now that you're back?

Well, if you need inspiration, definitely check out the pictures in Jami's album, or really any of the lovely women on here. I say women because SOMEONE (Alan!) hasn't posted photos yet!

Seriously, though, this is a great place for support, inspiration, and some really great friends!

I am trying to figure out if I can have Thai food on Fridays. We order Thai every Friday for lunch at work. Any suggestions? I usually order Basil Pad Curry with Shrimp, veggies and no noodles. It's a coconut milk sauce and because I dont have noodles there is always a ton of sauce left over. Any suggestions?

well... while I love Thai food, unless you know every ingredient in the sauce I would stay away. My BF is Cambodian and their food and Thai food are virtually the same and they put sugar in almost everything!! but if you know what the sauce is called maybe google the ingredients and see if they can break it down for you..

oh yeah.. and Welcome!!

Hi ladies....and Gent and Newbie!!!

I've been bad......

Yes, that day last week that was a "slap" in the face turned into a ...well I'm sure you can all figure out where I went.

Anyways......Day 1 on Re..Re..Re....Re...Induction...lmao....hahahah ok not really reinduction just picking back up.

I will no post any weights as it is a damn shame what a few days can do to a few weeks worth of work.

Lawmom...peachie...I do not know how ya'll just gain a few oz to a couple of lbs when you have an off day or few. I gain TONS. ugh.....anyways..

Just thought I'd pop up and Check IN to fess my ill doings.

Ok....so I'm doing ZC or Egg/meats this week.

Well I guess I really didnt start my morning as so...Figured I'll start at lunch.lol...

Eats so far:

B: 2 egg omlett w/cheese (shared w/dd)
1/2 avo
2 sausage patties
1/4 of a flax muffin

That really looks like alot of food right!! Dang.....It's gonna take a few days for me hunger levels to go back below normal again.

ok....well i'm here you guys.

I missed you all dearly!

No, I gain A LOT when I go off.. but it all comes back down as soon as I get strictly back on plan. Last time was like a week off plan (less than 7 days) and I gained +10lbs. But when I did get back on track I was down 3 the first day and then like 2lbs each day after and leveled out and balanced at like +2 from the original pre-mess up. that's how I know it is just that those carbs hold so much water. I mean you do not gain/lose fat that quickly..

Your here and you are posting and that is what matters!!

Yes...thank you!

Yah those carbs are bloaty messes arent they!!!!!!

So I was just calculating my cals/carbs from my breakfast...and I was SHOCKED at what the totals were.

I think that's why I only used ****** once back in september.......It was too shocking to see the calorie portion of it.

Oh and its saying to lose a certain amount per day I would have to consume 1202 calories. How do I do that?

Me and calorie counting don't mix!

MissG- I enter mine into "my *********" -I didn't like ******.. But I never look at the calories, I know that the carbs is what will help me lose..

-dang.. where is everyone??

Good morning everyone! Olivia -- glad you are back. I guess I have not really gone majorly off plan enough to see a significant difference and when I have gone off I haven't weighed for a few days so --- like Ammie said -- the water weight had probably come off and that would mean that I gained a pound or two. My main problem is that when I do go off plan it stalls me, which depresses me, which makes me go off plan, and it is all a viscious cycle. BUT we can do this!!!

Scale this morning read 170.6 ... TOM is about to leave ... wish he would take a pound or two with him.

Anyway, hope everyone has a great day.

Congratulations on starting this WOE .... it can be hard and we all need motivation at times, but it does pay off if you stick with it. I agree with everyone else, avoid the Thai food for now unless you know what is in it. I have added back in Chinese occassionally after several months but in the induction phase it is probably not a good idea.

Hello Ladies Hope you are all waking up happy ,cheerful and highly motivated.

TRS, The hardest part is always starting, even though I have the occasional slip up, this WOE really works, if you stick to it , you WILL succeed.

Peach ~ I'm just too lazy to bother about counting calories and so far it hasn't been a problem. Are you settled into the new home now? Hope you're managing to catch up on some sleep.

Cat ~ You may be a tiny Tyrant but you have no idea how lovely it is to have you back from the desert, even though you're a different time zone now.

Miss G ~ So lovely you're back, back to the grindstone girl!

LawMom ~ Tara, you're awfully quiet about your water consumption lately - anything you'd like to share ?????

Mica ~ hope you are feeling much better

Hi Alan! No -- I have nothing to share on the water consumption issue -- or as we say hear in the states -- I plead the 5th!

Yes...I'm back! Started bootcamp challenge (sp?) w/ ammie and cat joined too.

Ok..Started noticing that maybe I do have an issue with portion control still. So as of today I am really going to pay atttention to that factor and see if the scale moves more productivily. Like Tara said, the repeats cause the vicious cycle and I really need to figure it out.

Well I;m pretty sure If I can figure out why I sabotage myself then I can get to a normal number.

My tooth is hurting me today, not so much hurting but it aches and my gum and tissue around it is swollen. NOT COOL! I think in my delusional carb festing last week when I ate a corn chip , I chomped it the sharp side up and it hit my gum and tooth really weird. oh boyssssseeeee

Anyways here....drinking some coffee and getting my nec. water in for the day.....I'll check in later!
