Have any of you tried the CarbSmart ice cream from breyers? and is it induction friendly? Please let me know it looks too good to be for induction

I don't know if it is induction friendly but it is delicious! I haven't been able to get the chocolate here. I get the vanilla and put a few nuts or melt some 75% dark chocolate and put on top.

The ice cream bars are also very good.

They now have a strawberry, vanilla, choc mix, I love that a little of each taste, probably not for induction, but if you are sticking to under 20 carbs a day you could have a little, better to eat that than regular high sugar foods, when a craving hits just count it in your days total.

Thanks you all for let me know I got the chocolate bars and have them sitting on the freezer in case of emergency prob. not IF but better than the regular one, since my problem always have been chocolate and I never crave starchy foods Ive been really good keeping them under 20 gr.

Dinner tonight...went to a Chipotle type restaurant and I ordered the equivalent of the Burrito Bowl - half a portion of fajita veg (onions and peppers), steak, pico de gallo, fresh salsa, sour cream and shredded cheese. I then dumped most of a side of queso (cheese and cream, zero carb according to website) on top. This should have been awesome, but the salsa, sour cream, shredded cheese and pico were super cold so the veg and steak didn't hold the heat. I could make this way better at home.

Every time I go to Chipotle I am disgusted that the food is so cold! Funny you had the same problem. I love that we can make LC mexican food and that hot sauce is almost 0 carb!

Hi All, My darling hubbie has just made these yummy tuna patties

He used 500gm of canned tuna, half an onion, garlic to taste, 25gm of crushed pork rinds, 1 mushroom, 3 eggs and 3 tbsp of parmesan cheese. You could add any spices that you want and we are going to experiment.
They don't really look too exciting in the photo but they were soooo nice (and I am not too fussed on tuna ) and the recipe makes around 8 patties that are approx 8-9cm across. I worked out on ****** that they are just under 1gm of carbs per pattie
I found that they really didn't taste "fishy" at all but that will depend on the herbs and spices that you put in the mix

Oh I like Tuna Patties. My mom made them when I was a kid. She would break up bread and put celery and an egg in. These look good.

I'm so happy to hear that you and your family enjoyed it Amber! I also had a friend who "doesn't like" cauliflower over that day and she had seconds.

It sounds really yummy mixing in some ham too. I can't wait to try it also.

Thanks for letting me know!

I know I haven't posted in a while i've been busy lately, but I do have lots of pictures of food i've been cooking

Here's a few to get started:

I know my picture isn't as good as Cerise's, but here it is anyway.

Ginger Prawns

Chicken Guisado

I have more pictures, but i'll post them later or maybe tomorrow if I have a chance.

My blog has been updated as well.

Yeah the recipe was posted on someone else's blog. Cerise, she's a great cook and photographer, haven't seen her in a while though. Hope she's doing good.

Thanks agua. I made the cauliflower bake the other day. But my hubbie used a whole cauli so I just doubled the ingredients that I put in. Unfortunately while it was in the oven he informed me that the cauli was a fairly small one So needless to say it was extremely rich. I could only have very small amounts. But it was still nice. So next time I will have to be a bit more observant coz I am definately going to tackle that one again
