Dinner tonight....I also added some canned sliced mushrooms in my husbands serving...

Chicken Lazone

SERVES 4 (change servings and units)

Ingredients
1 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 teaspoons chili powder
1 1/2 teaspoons onion powder
2 teaspoons garlic salt
4 whole boneless skinless chicken breasts
1/4 cup butter, divided
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup grated italian cheese

Directions

Combine the seasonings and coat chicken breasts.
In large saute pan melt half of the butter and cook chicken over medium heat for about 7 to 8 minutes, turning once.
Pour the cream and cheese into the skillet and lower the heat.
Simmer for several minutes, stirring until the sauce thickens then add the remaining butter.
When butter is melted place chicken breasts on four plates and top with the sauce.

I used boneless skineless chicken breast in mine and I only had 3 breast instead of 4 so there was alot of sauce...I also added the extra grated cheese to my recipe on my own so it reminded me of my homemade alfredo sauce..Like I said I also added mushrooms to my husbands and I ate like 3 mushrooms and that added some extra richness...

Well since everybody's raving about the chicken lazone I made it tonight too!!
Heres mine:

My sauce came out a little darker than everyone else's I think it was the chili powder that gave it that deep golden color. It was very nummy! Served it with sauteed zucchini and onions.

That chicken lazone recipe is so easy to make and so good! I didn't add cheese in mine because the sauce already tasted "cheesy" without any cheese. So yummy! Had it for lunch with steamed cauliflower and I mixed the cauli with the sauce. SOOO GOOD! Everyone should try out this recipe LOL

AQUAMENTI - Those zuccihini coins look amazing!

PAOLISIMA - The onions/tomato in your dish made my mouth water. I always see people move the onions aside, but not me. I'll eat them happily. It's my meat!

I've never tried chicken lazone but it sure sounds tasty. I like saucy stuff. Gives me a reason to lick my plate. Ha Ha.

I do eat meat, but I love veggies.
These days I crave veggies more.

If you show me a big juicy steak or a bowl of yummy sauteed mushrooms....I'll go for the mushrooms.

Last night dinner was shrimp ceviche. I used red onions and cooked shrimp, the sauce is just mayo, LC ketchup and some lemon.
