Beachgirl's cheesecake sounds good! I'd have to leave out the BBs though.

I don't have an electric mixer either LOL
that link is full of many many wonderful cheesecake recipes!!!

i don't bake cheesecake for others except at holidays, so i don't care if it cracks, so i actually "mix/blend" mine in the blender. Works fine for me. YMMV!

What is YMMV? I see it a lot and have been meaning to ask someone LOL!

I just read the recipe for the plain one. Sounds really good. 5 carbs per serving though. Might be a treat once I lose a little more. I have a wisk and a big bowl, i'm sure that can do the trick LOL

Well this is my 2nd day. I'm doing good so far. I didn't have breakfast, I wasn't hungry. I had a big salad for lunch. I really appreciate all the ideas and encouragements. I know this time, I will achieve my goal.:-). I hope everybody is having a great day. I'll be back tonight. I'm on my Blackberry. I can't get on the internet at work.:-(

My rotel recipe

1 pound sausage
2 pounds ground beef
1 can rotel tomatoes pick the spice you like
1 block of cream cheese

Fry sausage and beef until brown, add cream cheese until melted. Pour one can of rotel and warm.

I eat it with cheddar cheese on top. My hubby loves it and puts it in a taco shell and of course adds extra spices to make it hot.

I make a big batch usually on Monday morning and eat it for lunch every day. Sometimes I have it for breakfast.

I'm stopping by real quick. I got home late tonight. I ate toppings off 2 slices of pizza's, mostly veggies. I also had 5 hot wings and celery with ranch dressing. I'm going to have a omlet for breakfast tomorrow. I will do a salad for lunch the rest of the week. I'm not sure about dinner.

Have a good night everybody.

I love that food porn thread!

Chosen a menu for a week from that...if i need more variety ill go get more but itl be better using up the food i buy properly before cooking something else ran out of money last month and ended up falling off the rails over the weekend eating OH food.

For this weeks menu i have chosen:

BREAKFAST: The delicious looking scotch eggs/
Oopsie bun with egg and bacon on it

LUNCH: Big Mac Salad/Quiche

DINNER: Faux Shepherds Pie/ Egg Drop Soup

I cant wait! For snacks if my carb count allows me, celery sticks and guacamole dip.

Tonight I plan on scrambled eggs with sausage, peppers, onions and cheese. Nothing like breakfast for dinner! LOL

Great menu Samantha, I love that thread too, so many ideas to keep the variety in our woe.

Hey Missouri, I see you are doing it girl. I wish I could get more exercise in. I may walk 1mile 2 nights a week. I just don't have enough time when I get home from work. I have a WII Fit, and I love doing the exercises on it. My daughter and I are going to start back doing it.

I had a great day today. I'm glad that I decided to do this. I know this time its going to work. This morning I ate bacon and eggs. I had leftover pizza toppings and a salad. I was going to have a diet drink at lunch. I thought about it and changed my mind. I got water instead. I'm having smoked sausage and sauerkraut for dinner.

I got on the scale to see if this is working. I have lost a total of 5lbs I just pray that I keep it up.

Missouri, I hope you have a good week too! Girl we are going to look so good for the summer.

Food today:
Breakfast: 2 boiled eggs mashed with pepper and butter
Lunch: 1 hamburger patty with mustard
Dinner: 1 cup grilled scallops
100 ounces water

I am hoping that since I am doing meat/egg fast that seafood counts as "meat"

I hate salad, in general, but I love steamed veggies. Those Steambags they sell in the supermarket have been a godsend!

For breakfast, I eat:

1 cup of Better N Eggs (which taste amazing, and no cholesterol), with 4 slices of bacon and 2 slices of cheese.

Lunch: Tuna salad, chicken salad, or leftovers from last night's dinner

Dinner: Broiled chicken or BBQ ribs (with a smidge of the lowest carb BBQ sauce I can find), broiled salmon, steak, slow cooked brisket or chuck steak.
1 cup of brown rice.
A huge pile of steamed veggies, usually broccoli and spinach.

I only drink water, at least 64oz a day. But every M/W/F I'll treat myself to ONE can of diet Pepsi for dinner (as opposed to the many cans I would drink per DAY)

And sometimes when my sweet tooth kicks in, I'll have a table spoon of peanut butter.

Hope this helps, and good luck!

Hey everybody, I hope you all are had a great day. This is my 6th day on induction. I have been doing great. I'm just so surprised.

Today I didn't eat any breakfast. My daughter had to cheer this morning. I really didn't have time to fix anything. I really wasn't hungry either. I did finally eat around 3pm. I got a rotisserie chicken from Sam's Club. I also ate some for dinner, with some steamed brocolli & cheese. I just can't wait to see what the scale will say on Monday.
