Congratulations!!!! Bye-bye 200's!

Hi Lawmom, Im glad to see that you are back to normal again. I think that you are losing wonderfully! At least your losing and not doing the 200-202 yo-yo dance anymore! Everytime you weigh yourself you are lighter. I have always heard that slow weight loss is better for you anyways.. You may not be where you want to be right now, but it will soon be there. I thought I was going to be where I wanted to be 2 months ago. I thought that 15 pounds would slide off really fast, the first 10 went fast, but the last 5 is a very slow process!! I only lost 2 pounds this last month.

My day is going alright. We are getting ready to head out to the dreaded Toys R Us to do some Christmas shopping! It's so cold out today and I really don't want to have to get out and about... but it must me done! Oh well

How is your day going?

Parker all natural PB has 2 net carbs per 2 Tablespoons. Its so good! I like it better than peter pan or skippy. The cruchy is my fav. But then. I had a long time LC'er say that they just count to total carbs in PB??? This ones label says 5g carbs, 3g fiber. I'll just stick with the net carbs. What do you go by?
Don't you hate it?! Ugh, what us women deal with. PB is my vice too...funny! I told DH to throw it out. We shop at costco a lot so got jiffy & it's 7g carbs/ 2 TBSP. Yikes! Probably more sugar than a natural one too. I bought an all natural almond butter to try and stay away from the PB. I go by total carbs. I started counting net carbs for a few days and ended up noticing the scale go slowly & slightly up each day. So total carbs for me!

WTG SNARLY!!!!! That must feel soooo good!!!!

Lawmom~ Slow and steady wins the race! It's taken me since March to get from 163 to where I am now. Just trust in the process and you will go far! You HAVE done great so far. Remember that! Oh, and inches. Don't forget to track those. I'm always amazed at how I'm losing inches more so than pounds.

Greeneyed: Goin' good! I decided to beat a binge and went to the gym late last night. Always forget how great I feel after a kick @ss workout! Not going to let those two days of PB cheesecake balls get me down. How about you?

Good morning everyone else!!! Let's all stick to this WOE all weekend!!!

I have thrown the idea of counting total and net carbs around for a while and I have decided on net. I have started eating anywhere from 20-25 net carbs a day but sometimes they get up to 28 oopsies.... LOL I did notice a 2 pound gain on our weigh in, but that maybe due to TOM and I ate a big dinner the night before that was still in my tummy, TMI. LOL Skippy natural PB has 6 total carbs I think, its really creamy. I tried a sunflower seed butter one time, it was great! Man, I love PB! What would this world be without it? LOL So, What level are you in Atkins right now? How many carbs do you consume a day? and. Do you excersize? SOrry if you already posted all this information before...

TOO DANGEROUS!! Do you mean addictive??? I have never tried any other nut butters... I have heard that mac nut butter was really good. I make these PB balls sorta like yours. Melt 2 oz cream cheese in microwave along with 2 T PB, stir in 1 T cocoa powder, makes 6 balls, put on wax paper in the freezer, so yummy. Only .85 net carbs depending on the type of PB. 5 carbs for the whole recipe. with your PB it would be 10 whole carbs for the entire recipe I used to make these all the time. I need to back off the PB though too. Im scared that nuts cause me to stall. I should quit them again for a week and see how I do. I cut out Sugar Alcohols, nuts and I cut back on calories all at the same time and all of a sudden I lost weight again. Like 2 pounds in a matter of a couple days.

I'm the same way. Ah, PB & chocolate? Now that's a lethal combo!

You TJ too?! I LOVE it. I'm doing Chalean extreme right now too, and am seeing results so much faster than any other program I've ever tried (along with TJ).

I love TJ and I bought ChaLEAN however right as I started it, I injured my left shoulder. I still can't so much with that shoulder much less lift weights. I loved what I tried of ChaLEAN though.

Hello everyone!!

I have been very busy and can't keep up with my girlfriends

to Snarycat Congrats! I can feel your excitement here in Texas, girl!!

to Jilly, This is another great thread that i just love!!

on christmas shopping: I am mostly done and happy about that! Do NOT like the crowds that gather during this time of year!! Stifling!

Lawmom, I'm hear you on the pre-TOM/TOM binging My time will be next week, and that's what I work on NOT gaining. i find losing during the holidays is always a challenge. Supposed to be a happy time, and ends up being so darn stressful

Jami, you are doing great, pre-TOM can really be tough!

Aw, I'm sorry about the back. Have you sought chiropractic care/PT? Even massage. I hope you made it through 20MWO! I love that one when pressed for time. I sometimes will do Burn then the 20 MWO. Today I did Cardio party 2 & had a blast! ChaLean is an awesome program to combine with TJ. Her energy is contageous.

Midlight~ Isn't Burn Intervals crazy?!?! I thought I was going to puke the first two times I did it. Never have I gotten to that point before! I used the bands strictly for Burn, and now in Push I mix between weights & the bands. I have weaker shoulders from overuse (am a masseuse going on 6 yrs) so that's mainly the reason for the bands. Sorry about your injury too!

to Snarycat Congrats!

It is tough. My scrubs are tight around the middle today, and I feel like I gained 10 pounds overnight! Yesterday I was so hungry! I put all my foods into myplate and I had 26 net carbs and 2000 calories.. YIKES. Im watching it carefully today. Glad you are almost done shopping. I dont like crowds either. I buy lots of things online through Amazon and Ebay so that helps a little. Holiday gain is a bummer. Its too bad that food has to be such a staple for entertaining and family gatherings.

Jami.......did you take pics of your tree?? I wanna see!!!
I didnt take any pics yet. I will, Our tree is not very impressive this year. LOL It looked so pretty the last couple years, but I let my DH pic the decor out. LOL I felt bad because he always wanted to decorate it, but his ideals and mine are so different. I'll take one a picture and show it to you all anyways, It funny.

I have gone to a Chiropractor a couple times. Never been to masseuse though, good idea. Dont your hands hurt when you have to give long massages? Mine do when I give rub downs to my DH. The Chiropractor helps with the muscle pain, but I still have some impingement somewhere. Its not as bad as it used to be once I laid off running. But I am dying to start again.
I really like the Cardio party 2 too, its my favorite. I have cardio party 3, I think the choreography is too hard, and its seems unorganized?? I dunno. I want to try the other ones you mentioned also. I was especially wanting to try Burn. LOL Thats so funny you felt like barfing! I know what you mean!

Good Morning everyone! I just wanted to check in again to see how everyone was doing today! I am at work waiting for a patient to arrive.
Lawmom, I hope the scale has moved in the inteded direction for you this morning. Isnt today yourweigh in day? Any plans today? I hope everything goes ok with your DH and DD.

I am so mad at myself today. I havent really been very consistant with my food choices, All LC foods, but too much of them. Last night I had Strawberries for the first time. Its smart to eat a type of fat with them, so what did I have with them... Peanut butter, Very good, but I also decided early yesterday to get rid of PB for a while. I swear I have no will power. Then I had a minute muffin.... sigh. Oh well. I keep saying to myself that today is a new day. I am also going to keep drinking my shakes, but Im nixing the protein powder for a while too. I know its not induction legal, but like you said MissG, would it effect losses?? Plus I can cut back 105 calories if I cut the scoop out.
Today my menu looks like this
B, scrammbled eggs, 2 pc bacon
water, hot tea
L. Shake
D. chopped salad with hamburger
NO SNACKS AFTER DINNER!!!!!!!
Just tea and water! Promise. I'll check in tomorrow and I will tell you all that I had nothing after dinner to snack on!
