Doesn't the Shrimp and Spinach Salad have Almonds in it? I always have to have those removed.

Congrats on the 3 lbs down too!! I'm with ya on the coffee. But, I've always tolerated it quite well...I was reading in the True You Diet book that the Hunter/Gatherer can tolerate coffee well and that is what I am and very similar diet to the Atkins. Interesting.

It does: the description is listed below:

Grilled Shrimp 'n Spinach Salad an irresistible mix of tender spinach, fresh diced tomatoes, bacon pieces, roasted red peppers, red onions, toasted sliced almonds and hot bacon vinaigrette, topped with succulent grilled shrimp

Serving Size: 1; Calories: 273, Total Fat: 22g, Carbs: 5.5g, Protein: 11g

These are the nutrition facts (at least according to various websites I saw)

That's what I thought, since nuts aren't allowed on Induction, you would have to asked for "no almonds"...just a reminder

I am having a diet mt dew and malibu as I read the board.. I am not sleeping well so hoping it will relax me.. Malibu has 10 carbs per ounce, and I have only had a steak and some spicey pork rinds today.. I have to be up early tomorrow to help at a pancake breakfast for football.. they are having sausage and eggs too, so I am set if I eat there...

I am so worn out.. Not sure I even have the energy to eat right now LOL.. Was at the high school at 6:30 am to help set up for the pancake breakfast fundraiser for football.. Stayed and helped til it was over.. Did I mention it was over 100 degree's .. it is 2:00 pm and I am soo worn out it is unbelieveable.. I just turned on the deep fryer to throw some wings in.. So I guess today will just be hotwings.. I lost more down to 213 today, and that is official weigh in weight..

Yes ma'am!! I owe it all to LC.. Plus the stats don't show the overall feeling/energy.. all that! I feel like the only time I am in absolute control is when I am OP with my LC.. It is my life now.. I went off plan over the last year.. off and on.. and I was miserable. I know this is the life for me!

I aam wondering what you all think about this idea.. I was out in the sun and got a sun burn and know I am dehydrated.. I am drinking alot right now but know I need more.. I ate a bunch of chicken wings, some with hot sauce.. I know I cannot be starving type hungry, but that is how I feel right now.. My idea is that when you need fluids, your body reacts in the same ways as when you are hungry.. Any one else have a take on this??

I have kept my carbs super low and today I am going to bring them up to around 45 -50.. I had a huge omelette from the is place called the cowgirl cafe.. It is loaded with a variety of meats plus tomatoes, onions, peppers and cheese.. My DH and I shared it I added a teaspoon of gravey and 2 tablespoons of hashbrown.. Opps and a tootsie roll LOL.. I have to go out to dinner with my in-laws after going shopping with them today. I am going to try to steer them towards a steak house or someplace I can get some ahi/poke tuna... i won't eat after 6 today....

You amaze me. You have lost over a 100 pounds ... are within 20 pounds of goal... and you still stay strong in front of the family.

This weekend was the first time that I have been around my family since I started, and they were not real supportive either. My mom wanted to go to McDonalds to get breakfast and got a little upset that I just wanted my leftover chicken from the night before. That being said, my step-dad made the wonderful comment "you look like you have lost some weight!" Of course, he is my new favorite person.
