Start Of Induction
Hi Guyz
I'm looking to start off Atkins on Monday. I want to lose 2 stone. I am your typical Irish peasant, everything i eat is bread and potato starch based. I Really do know where to start, what i would be allowed to eat and what i cant. Please can yo point me in the right direction along with sample weekly menus so i have an idea. Thank You |

Really Atkins doesnt work most of the time if you have not read the book. Unfortunealty there are so many way to unknowingly self sabotage yourself.
But i guess go into induction, here is something brief Atkins Diet Phase 1 — Induction Phase :: Dr. Atkins' Diet Plan Rules of the Atkins Diet Induction Explained But i really suggest reading the book...any of them will do. Last edited by Remykins; 07-03-2009 at 01:59 PM.. |

I have been a lowcarbfriends stalker for years, I don't think I have ever posted, but here goes. I am going to be a second timer. About 7 years ago I was extremely successful and lost about 20 lbs.
I'm joining you HanSolo and starting on monday! |

Definately read the book, so you have an understanding of not only WHAT to eat but WHY you're eating it.
If you get one of the newer versions of the book, I'd suggest ignoring where they tell you to eat the Atkins bars and shakes, and just stick to whole, real foods. If you can, buy an older copy of the book (the one with the red cover). |

Okay.... today's the day. So far I've had an egg, a piece of canadian bacon and a chunk of leftover grilled chicken. I 'm hoping to stick with induction until the beginning of august.
