Hi you guys

I have been looking for an online support group like this one, I started Atkins on May 26, I accidently typed May 25th in my profile. I have been exercising now for 3 weeks. My boyfriend and I started walking the 1st week, 2nd week, incorporated tae boe, and 3rd week, will do both walking and alternating c Tae Bo. I lost weight the first time doing Atkins but feel off the wagon. Can I please join your group. My goal by the end of this month is to lose 10 lbs and by the end of challenge is to lose 20lbs. I am looking forward to this online support.

Yes, it's very hard to exercise, I'm on vacation this week until Monday, and I am trying to come up with a routine that I will maintain. I have been excersing in the evenings, and right now I am trying to get enough energy to walk at least 20 minutes on the treadmill or 10 minutes jump rope. Hopefully, I'll find the motivation

Me too!!It's hard for me to get motivated for exercise. I just remind myslef that i feel better after. I think juming rope is a good idea!! So is the walking. A few of us here have the walk away the pounds dvd. You follow along with it.You can walk 1,2, or 3 miles. You might like that too!!For days when you don't want to leave the house.

Count me in too please. I'm starting back as of yesterday...long story short, LC is the only thing to keep me from sugar binges. Weight yesterday morning, 125. Goal for end of 8 weeks is anything pretty much. Will take anything I can get, am a slooooooooooow loser, so 2-4 lbs would make me a happy camper!

Oops, I'll have to change that info when I get a chance. The first 45 lbs came off low carbing, then I started running and needed to add back carbs in a "safe" manner. Dropped to 112 and was doing great then the holidays came, then the ice came and I fell 2-3 times while trying to exercise outside so I just more or less gave up. Still tried to stick with the Nutrisystem, but my sugar-bingeing is back with a vengeance so I'm back to my old friend LC. Hope to be able to continue to run while doing it, maybe I can - I HOPE I can anyhow. I really do feel better doing LC, except for the lack of running energy...any suggestions appreciated.

I'm getting ready to head out for a doctor's appointment before work, when I get to work I'll try and fix my information (if I have time, sometimes I have plenty of time for that type thing at work, sometimes I have NO time for anything except work at work.

I hate to sound stupid, but what is "icing"? I really have been off the low carb plan for some time and it has thrown me for a loop to some of the terms used! Can you inlighten me???

I could not eat the food from nutrisystem, gagged me every time I tried, ended up giving them to my mom who could not eat them so my dad ate them! I think he could eat anything!!! He thought they were good!!!

I have for the past 2 months tried medifast. I really liked it, but it had its bad points for me, I had no energy as with lc, I think it had too many carbs. I did really well, but man if I messed up in the least and ended up off the plan I really had a hard time getting back on and the weight would fly back on even as good as I tried to be!

That I think was my turning point to get back on the lc, seemed I knew what I could do with it, I was in such a hurry for a quick fix and to shed the pounds fast that in turn after on and off the plan I added 7 extra pounds I did not have prior to starting medifast! Should have known I needed the lc way!

Vicki

Exercise...Curves.....Gym....????

I wanted some idea with exercising? When I did atkins before I did not do any exercising. Nothing!!! I know I need to be doing it and really I have no idea what is good! I thought about going to Curves to exercise. Has anyone had any good luck with what they have to offer? I do not have any exercise equipment at home and honestly do not have the room to get it, budget wise and space wise!

I like what I have seen with curves, but wanted to see if anyone has used their plan and equipment.

Last time with low carb I had energy but did not use it to exercise, not unless you can use cleaning, and everyday things for that! Now for some reason in my life I want to move, exercise and honestly do not know how to do it or what I should do@!!!!!!

Any ideas of comments would be wonderful!!!
Thanks

2be- lcing means low carbing, its jsut easier than typing it all out. For exercise a lot of people walk. I did curves like 6ish years ago. I liked it, but it wasn't really challenging after a while. But i did lose some inches. I was acutally thinking about going back myself, but i don't want to have to sign a contract. Other ideas would to be get a workout dvd that you enjoy?yoga? dancing?

This is funny...I know that LC means low carbing...but I was confused when I saw lcing too, because I read it as icing...and I was thinking, how the heck can you have icing on a LC diet...must be using splenda, or something...

I checked into curves, and while the one on one time with the person there was good...I didnt like the equipment....I like the regular equipment in the gym. So for me, If I were going to spend the money (which I cant because I dont have it) I would get a regular gym membership.

What I would like do is get a membership to 24 hour fitness because the one near me has a pool. I would like to swim...and I would probably have the pool to myself, cause I would scare everyone else out of it.

But there are other people I know who have enjoyed curves, I think.

I feel like donkey poo today
I think i am hungry, but nothing sounds appetizing, anxiety is really acting up, and i am uber tired. I went to the gym, but i just did cycling for 15 minutes, broke a sweat, but i just cant stay focused.

I ate a chicken breast and a couple veggies, and i think i may get sashimi for dinner. I know i was out of ketosis after my big day, so maybe i have induction flu ?
I can just barely lift my arm.

Bally is offering no contract plans right now...
And i know lots of places that are doing '1 week free membership plans', so you could try a bunch before committing because they are all so different. I really recomend classes to everyone because they really let you kow what a workout feels like, and you get quick results.
