They must have changed something behind the scenes and broke this portion of the board.

Hey everyone, I lost a pound and it is posted below. This weekend I cheated. On sunday,, I had popeyes, a sundae and washed it down with pepsi. On Monday, my stomach was doing summersaults, (is that spelled correctly). I don't want anymore popeyes. My stomach ached me the entire today. I was worried about getting on my scale. I didn't do that much exercise on the weekend too. But yesterday I walked for about 20 min on Monday, and walked/jogged 45 minutes in the park. My boyfriend killed me, had me jogging up the hill, I was so out of breath. The good thing is that he keeps me motivated and we are doing it together.

Riot-I completely understand you trying the low cal, because I don't know how long I could stay on the low carb, it's hard. I will try and stick to it, just so that I can lose the weight quicker and then will switch up.

Morning everyone!! Thanks for the encouragement and support. I know we've all been there and struggled but I put so much pressure on myself to get to goal that I get discouraged and then it goes downhill from there as you can see lol. I just need to keep reminding myself that this board is the only difference in the other times I tried to lose weight and this time. I stayed on plan again all day yesterday. I can't remember the last time I stayed on plan for 2 straight days. It's at least been a month.....

FF - speaking of pizza, I really loved the low carb pizza on that site so maybe I will make that tonight or tomorrow night. I haven't had it since last summer at least. I think you were the one that made it with squash and zucchini and I tried it like that and it was awesome!

beach - I truly am the same way! I love to go outside and play soccer and basketball with my son. We've even played tennis a few times the last few months but I can't stand structured exercise. I also hate going to gyms because I never know where to start or if I'm doing enough. I did the hip hop abs Monday and yesterday and will do it again today after I drop my son off at camp. I will probably do this video 3 days a week and another video the other 3 days so I don't get too bored or stagnant with it. I really wish I could lose weight by playing outside with my kids though!

Menu:
B: scrambled eggs; coffee with cream and splenda
L: tuna on low carb wrap
S: chocolate shake (atkins)
D: chili
70 ounces water

Ollamo, have them check out all 4 in the series for you because I guarantee once you start the first one you won't want to put it down and once you finish you'll want to start the next one immediately. They really are THAT good!

Hey, everybody. I'm feeling pretty down today. I've got too much on my plate and I'm weighing myself too much, I think. Today I weighed myself when I got up...147.5. Then when I got back from working out and eating.... 148.5. It was like 45 minutes later! GEEZ!

Last night, my parents took us out to dinner. Luckily, they are also doing Atkins. We got prime rib, salad and broccoli. My fiance had the same.

Today's menu:
B: 2 eggs, bacon, ham
S: String cheese
L: leftover tenderloin wrapped in bacon and cooked in adobo sauce
S: Jello
D: Eating at a friend's house, going to meet her baby. I am hoping that there is something low carb. I didn't explain to her that I'm eating like this now.

My parents are gone, now. They noticed my weight loss (especially in my face) but maybe they are just being nice. Dress fitting is today rather than yesterday, due to the tailor not having it done yesterday and also me forgetting my shoes for the fitting. Wish they had a facepalm smiley so I could use that one.

17 days til the wedding. Gotta chill out and not be so stressed.

Oh the book is soooooooooooooooo much better than the movie. I actually didn't like the movie because it wasn't as good as the book. I'm jealous that you have all 4 books to read now! lol

the first book is definitely the best though.

Me too! I've been weighing myself like 5 times a day lately. lol

I did find something out about myself though. I always thought I weighed the least when I first wake up, but it turns out I actually weigh the least about 2 hours after I wake up.

So now I'll have to wait a few hours before weighing in on Mondays.

I had to buy all of the books because I was 278 on the waiting list at the library closest to my house. I have read all 4 of them and FF is right - once I started I had to keep reading until I finished all 4. I'm so glad I didn't read it when it first came out because I would have died if I had to wait for her to write all 4 lol! You'll enjoy them. The movie is great too. I've watched it 4 or 5 times. So now you guys know what I have been doing instead of checking in here and working out lmao!

At first I felt like a dork for liking them because they are considered teen books but then I got over it. Have you been to stephanie myer's website? She has a partially finished manuscript that was leaked out over the internet on her site. Apparently, it's a book she started writing that is from Edward's point of view when Bella first arrived in Forks. I saved it to my pc but haven't read it yet. She didn't finish it and I don't know if she plans on it but didn't know if you had read it yet.

I don't think it's odd that you were up a pound after eating and working out. It's likely that you had water before or after you worked out also so I think that's probably about right to be up one pound an hour later or so...

You really didn't like the movie? I guess maybe I liked it because I saw the movie first when I was on the plane back from Cancun and then read the book after...

I've never had tuna muffins because they sound really gross. I know they are probably really good but I can't wrap my mind around a muffin tasting like tuna. So today is my 3rd day in a row of working out and I feel really good. My back is a little sore but I seem to have more energy. Today is my first day without headaches also, thank God!

Yeah, I probably would have liked the movie if I saw it first, but there were too many things about the movie that didn't play out like it did in my head when I was reading the book...so i wasn't impressed. But movies are never as good as books because they have to cut so much out. Except for the Harry Potter movies. For me the movies are just as good as the books.

I think New Moon the movie will be a lot better too because I'm guessing the budget is much bigger.

And I did the same thing as you with the partially finished manuscript on her website. I saved it to my computer but haven't read it yet.

hrm, maybe I should give the Twilight books a whirl. I wrote them off as teeny bopper crap, but if you guys liked them.... Let me check the waiting list at my library.

I did the same thing Riot! That's why I didn't read them until all four books had already been published. (thank goodness)

But then a good friend of mine read them and couldn't stop raving about them so I gave them a shot and I'm so happy I did. I bought all of them at the same time and I read them in my last month or so of being pregnant. They were so good that I think I read all four in like a week and a half. If that. lol
