Hey all! Sorry I have been awol for a few days. Went out of town since our a/c broke. We are in SC and it is already in the 90s everyday, so I neeeeeed my a/c! I think a few pounds of that is sweat, haha. Unfortunately where I was staying only had a dial scale (what are they called?) not a digital but it looked like 200 so that is what I put!
Now off to catch up on posts!

Hi, guys!

Happy Monday. I don't have a scale yet, and I don't trust my Wii Fit, so I'll have to wait to weigh myself until after I go to Target tonight.

That is one reason I don't have a scale already. I know I will obsess about my weight when I get one. Not that I'm not already obsessed!

The countdown is at 26 days, 3 hours, 57 minutes. I have to say that after going to get my rings fused at the jeweler yesterday, I'm feeling very nervous! I am not sure what the anxiety is about, I am not having cold feet, I just am worried. It is also weird not to have the engagement ring on for the first time since he gave it to me.

I was good on Friday while out with friends, but not on Saturday while I was home alone. I pretty much ruined all my work, although my girlfriends noticed I had lost some weight on Friday, so that felt good. I have decided to give up drinking until my wedding day because I know I will lose faster. My fiance is supportive of it. I didn't drink for 4 years once, and during that time I lost 40 pounds just from that, not eating sweets and exercise. So I know its one of the things that is keeping me fat. Maybe I'll give it up for good. I tend to embarrass myself when drinking. I have a really low tolerance to it.

Yesterday's menu:

Brunch: Omelette and salad at a restaurant, but it was low-carb.
Snack: Atkins bar
Dinner: Kielbasa with Sauerkraut and mustard with a little salad on the porch (before it rained)
Workout: Walked dog in AM, planted some plants, went disc golfing for 2.5 hours, ran with dog (high intensity) in park.

Today's Menu:
B: Eggs with cheese and Canadian Bacon
L: Salad
Snacks: Cheese curds and celery and radishes cut up with some carb free dressing
D: Roasted chicken with spinach.
Workout: So far, not much, because it is raining here (we're right there with you in WI, Snix... also I used to live near Ridgedale!!)

I plan on trying out making my low carb rhubarb dessert tonight, too.

I will weigh myself later and let you guys know. The only thing I'm working with is that last time I went to the Doctor (like a month and a half ago), I weighed 158, which is 20 pounds more than the 138 I was at the year before for my physical. That is up from an all-time low of 119.

Also, Ollamo, thanks for telling me the skinny on your move. I wasn't completely understanding the situation, but I'm so sorry to hear all of that. I have had to deal with similar stuff, having been on the army base in Germany. You are right to say that at least he's in England. I completely understand what you're saying about finding a way to stay. It is very difficult to get a visa. I wish you luck and stay happy today!

I started induction Saturday and am so proud of myself. I ate very well Satruday. We went to a cookout sunday. I ate before going so that I would not be too hungry. When it was time to eat I checked out the table and saw that there was nothing there that was on the acceptable food list (the chicken had bbq sauce) so I did not eat anything!!! Yeah me.

I guess i need to get my butt in gear now. Today was my "get all of the american food you couldn't have while you were gone day" Well off to wal mart. Going buy hamburger patties and maybe more tilapia. Depending on the price. I am broke right now. And job hunting, which is going so well.. I really am proud if everyone today! Good job ladies

Well, if it's been a while... a LOT has changed. But I'm pulling around $1000 a month when I actually do it. Like the whole month of April I only made like $50 cause I was so exhausted with the baby. You should log in and see if you're still active, and if so then I'll explain all the changes to ya if you want to start again. I find it keeps me from thinking of food!!!

OMG today was hard. My boss took me to Applebee's because I won a contest. I was planning to get soup & salad and then she insisted on an appetizer (mozz sticks), and then the waiter steered us into getting steak. It would've been fine if I'd just had my steak & broccoli, but then she ordered me a salad and it was all too much. And then like 3 people came to ask me if my steak was ok since I only ate half of it. I wanted to say "what, have you never seen people eat in moderation and take food home?" Lame.

So thank god weigh in isn't on Tuesday.

My first day!

Well I started my Low Carb Eating today as I had planned!

With my girls home from school and the hectic day it was a bit hard! I felt more stressed than I normally do! Hopefully tomorrow will get a bit easier!! I can not remember if it was hard like this before!?

Reguardelss, I have to stick to it! I weighed myself this morning and it was 232!!! [I][I][COLOR="Red"]If anyone can tell me how to correct my weight on the list I would be grateful! I am off by two pounds![I][COLOR="Black"]

I took my measurements too! How I every let myself get back to this state is beyond me!!

It looks like all of you have done great! Proud and tickled for all of you! GREAT JOB!! Hopefully I can report as good next week!!

By the way what day is the weigh in?

Will be back to report as soon as I can! May not be soon as I like, we have a new Nephew in the family! He is two months pre-mature! But doing wonderful! Would be grateful for any prayer that anyone may give! He is 3 lbs and 2 oz!

Hi guys

It's been a few days since I've been on. This weekend was crazy with my eating. Friday I had popeye's chicken for brunch. That was the only meal I had because I felt so bloated and like a pig. At midnight, I went on the treadmill for 20 minuts. Saturday, I had fried chicken again, pieces of salmon. Sunday, we barbecued and I didn't even exercise. Today, my boyfriend and I did Tae bo. I will be back on track. In the morning, I will do 20 minutes on the treadmill and then Tae bo after work in the evening. We plan on doing Tae Bo 3x/wk and then walk/run on the other days. I have posted my updated weight, it was only a 1 lb loss, but I have lost 10 lbs in 2 weeks. Congratulations to everyone who is on the journey of weight loss. This is really motivating and inspiring.

When I did low carb several years ago I LOVED the energy that went with it! I loved how I felt and it made my body feel inside! I type that out and I sit here shaking my head as I do it! BECAUSE I can not believe that I eer strayed away from that lifestyle!!!!! I made it to goal and them some and felt great, can not get over that I let myself get back where I was!

I am having a bit of a hard time thinking about the calories! I did Medifast long enough that now I have it in my mind that it is too much! Course I was only getting 800 to 900 cals a day if I was lucky! I did well but even the smallest slip up I gained it back by two folds! The guilt was terrible ....but still I have to rework my mental state about comsuming more calories, not outragous amounts but getting the understanding of Atkins again! I did start to re-read my old Atkins book again last night!

Thanks for the help with the list, sure hate that I have to change my starting amount, but do not want to "cheat" myself out of those two pounds when I do loose them!!!HEHEHEHEH!

Good morning everyone!

Riot- I am trying to find my log in info Gosh it has been that long. So i doubt that i will even be able to do it. But i am hoping. That would be perfect right now.

I cooked a bunch of tilapia last night. And i got hamburger patties from wal mart. So i am ready to go today. I guess we'll see how it goes.
