I don't particularly care for the taste of it made with all CO, so I use half CO, half unsweetened butter.

2 T CO, 2 T unsalted butter, 1 TBL cocoa powder, 1 packet Splenda (sprinkled in, to taste, I don't use the whole packet--I don't like them very sweet), drop of vanilla extract. Melt the butter and CO, stir in the cocoa powder until smooth and then add the rest, stirring constantly. I have a sheet of little heart candy molds (from Michael's Crafts) that hold about 1 tsp each. One sheet makes 15 candies with a little leftover batter, which I just eat right then off the spoon. Store in the fridge.

Oh--wow, I'm regretting the moment I saw this thread. Of course, I just had to run and make this today, and it was waaaay too good. Fortunately, my kids were there when I took it out of the freezer, so they gobbled up at least half. I would have seriously eaten the whole plate-full. Very, very dangerously tasty! ;-)

I actually use the whole batch as one serving...but then again I follow a *very* high fat diet, so it's OK, it's a tasty way to get my fat up to target.

I find I have portion control issues, too. I think it's a large part of what got me in trouble in the first place, not adhering to reasonable portions in general and always eating all of anything that is front of me, whether it be a 16 ounce steak and a large cesar salad or, in the old days, a plate of pasta or a pan of brownies or a bag of Doritos.

It's good practice to get to know that 1/4 of that batch is probably a "reasonable" serving for the standard LC diet. But very hard to do where the rubber meets the road.
