grilled chicken
Does anyone buy the meats that are premade? Like the oscar meyer pre grilled chicken for salads. Or the premade roasts by hormel? Are they really induction friendly? I just have a hard time remembering to take food out the night before for dinner and for lunch. So I am having ribeye for dinner but i forgot to plan my lunch for the day. Any tips?

My DH works nights and brought home a warm rotisserie chicken from the store, so I ate both drumsticks for breakfast!
![]() I would think it's Induction-friendly, being all protein & fat (love the skin! ). |

try to avoid the pre made ones as they have added perservatives and nitrates that are not so good, I use them if I find myself out and about and starving, as it is better than McDonalds chicken. However, I have taken to baking chickens all the time at home with my own carb friendly spices and then I always have cold chicken to snack on or put in a tuperwear if I am running out the door quickly.

Each week I buy a bag of chicken breast season and put in the crock pot and use that for lunch all week.

Seasoning chicken
I frequently make chicken in my George Forman Chicken Roaster (not rotiserie style, it is a large grill that you put your chicken in and close the lid over. Lid and bottom are the heated elements, but taste like rotiserrie and a heck of a lot easier to clean).
I use: Old bay with some added garlic Cavender's seasoning (btw, they salt it salt free) bar-b-que seasoning lemon pepper seasoning You can use almost any seasoning you find at the grocer as long as no sugar in it. Read the labels and give it a try. I have never had a chicken come out bad. |
