Egg creams on induction and other !

Hi. I have been reading about egg creams and was wondering:
1) Are these ok on inducition? I thought creams was supposed to be limited on induction. Maybe I need to reread my book.
2) I take it the eggs are raw. Doesn't anyone get sick from eating raw eggs? Does it taste raw? I just can't get past the thought.

since it bothers you don't do it. There are lots of different ways to get your proteins, healthy fats and veggies on induction.

that is the beauty of it pick the foods from the acceptable lists you like and enjoy having yummy tasting foods you enjoy as you morph your body shedding bnody fat and adding lean tissues.

And yes the amount of cream on can consume is limited in induction based on how your body handles it according to DADNR 2002 one can have up to 3 ounces BUT one also needs to know that cream might effect the speed with which one shed weight as do all special catagory foods.

I've just started induction and have had 2 egg creams a day. So far I haven't been limiting the cream at all, drink it when I want. (Today I haven't wanted any until just a few minutes ago-after eating 5 slices salty bacon)

I made my first with 1 egg, 1 oz cream, 1 scoop Carbsolutions powder, and about 1/4 c ice water.

I enjoyed it, so made another later, with this recipe: 2 eggs, 2 oz cream, 1/4 tsp vanilla, and I had to use 1 packet Splenda in it, and since, I've made two more.
I may make one later today. I've been hungry for ice cream, and that's what real ice cream is:
3 quarts whole milk
2-1/2 cups sugar
3/4 teaspoons salt
2 tablespoons vanilla
Hmm: maybe I'll make one now, and freeze it!

You don't like the taste of eggs, here's a recipe for eggless ice cream:
Cut it way back, and make it in a cup?

INGREDIENTS (Nutrition)
2 quarts half-and-half cream
1/2 pint heavy cream
1 1/2 cups white sugar (Could you switch this to splenda?)
4 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 pinch salt

DIRECTIONS
Combine half-and-half, cream, sugar, vanilla and salt in freezer container of ice cream maker. Freeze according to manufacturer's instructions.

Google other recipes, and experiment.
I don't know if splenda is permitted on induction, but eggs, cream, vanilla are.

I drink one egg cream a day during induction and haven't noticed any stalls. They give me great energy--I don't know if it is the eggs or the coconut oil, but I feel wonderful after this breakfast.

Here are my favorite recipes:

Here's the iced coffee basic recipe:
4-5 oz. strong coffee (I like to use freshly ground coffee--good stuff, but I'm kind of picky about my coffee!)
1 or 2 T. Coconut Oil
2 Whole Eggs
2 T. Heavy Whipping Cream
2-3 Teaspoons (sometimes more or less) sugar-free Davincis syrup--I like Caramel or Vanilla Bean
4-5 Ice Cubes

I first melt the coconut oil in the hot coffee. While it's melting I blend the eggs, cream, and syrup in the blender until nice and frothy. Make sure the eggs get blended well. Then, I add the ice cubes. Blend again. Then, last I add the coffee/oil mixture. Blend again. I sometimes add another couple ice cubes to make sure it is cold. Just pour into a glass and enjoy. Variations to this are to add 2 tsp. cinnamon or some cocoa powder. I also tried one really tasty version with a tablespoon of peanut butter (pb is not induction friendly)!

As for the other egg creams, the root beer version is basically the same, except I tend to have trouble getting the coconut oil to stay liquid with this one. I'm not sure why, but it kind of hardens into little chunks. It doesn't bother me, but I think it grosses some people out.

Rootbeer Float

2 Eggs
2 T. Heavy Whipping Cream
1-2 tsp. sf vanilla syrup
1 T. melted Coconut Oil (you can leave this out if you prefer)
4-5 Ice Cubes
Blend all of this together really well and then pour into a glass. Pour the Diet Rootbeer on top of the mixture and blend with spoon. You can add more ice to the blender before adding it to the root beer if you want it really icy--like a real float. It's super tasty.

Lemon/Lime Version

2 Eggs
2 T. Heavy Whipping Cream
1 T. melted Coconut Oil
1/4 package of sugar free lemon or lime jello (more or less if you desire)
Blend all of this together. Then, add ice cubes. At least 5 or 6. Blend again.
If you want it more liquid-like you can add more cream or sugar-free almond milk (very few carbs in it).
