Crystal Light vs Diet Soda
Are they the same?
As in not great but acceptable every now and then? Or is drinking crystal light better than diet soda? I seem to have slowed down my diet soda cravings but that crystal light is so refreshing after a long hot walk. I really have trouble drinking water, but I do try to choke some down every now and then. |

they are both sweetened with aspartame- a sweetner that can stall some people and is in general not recommended. there are some sodas and drinks that use splenda, such as diet rite, hansen's diet and sparkling water. splenda is generally considered 'safer' than aspartame to use. stevia is another option, though it is an aquired taste and there are not many convenience type drinks with stevia in it.
i used to make unsweetened kool-aid with splenda when i wanted something like that. hope that helps... |

There are other brands next to the crystal light packages that use Splenda, I forget the names, but just look and you will find them. Maybe Nestea makes them? Not sure. Make sure to count the carbs in each package in your daily total.
