Alberta aka Butterfly!

BOTH are good for you. You don't have to choose either/or. Use both!

I'm still doing warm lemon water in the AM but incorporating Bragg's into my salad dressing.
(1 Tbsp Marie's bleu cheese + 1 Tbsp Bragg's ACV)

PS - No Nuts on Induction. carbs in nuts and carbs in cocoa? but no carbs in co!
I left the almonds out of the CObark for that reason..but it is still so good. Those little bunnies are so cute though..lol..

I read on one of the threads that we are not suppose to eat Sugar Free Cool Whip.. I thought we were allowed a small amount of this.

I am off today to pick up my muffin top pans so My Oopsie rolls are going to be nice and round for my burgers..

Still drinking my lemon juice and my order for CHROMIUM PICOLINATE,and L-CARNITINE 1000 mg come today also.

If after all this I don't start to lose weight I am going to get hubby to roll me up and down some hills to see if it will come off that way..

Today is day 14 for me. It has not been perfect but I am ok with that. I am going to continue Induction until our challenge starts. Then off to OWL.

I did not weigh in. I will do that Monday. But with only 12 pounds to lose, I will be anticipate a small loss in 2 weeks.

Happy Friday everyone.

Wow, only 12lbs to lose? I'm SO jealous Just kidding. It won't take you NO TIME to lose 12lbs. Just keep your eating VERY clean, exercise, and drink lots of water. You can do it

Good Morning Team!

First thank you for your kind words Meek and HB, while I was going through it the other day. I made it without cheating

BuddyGirl, thank you for the avatar!

Ok, I am will be going to an Angels Baseball game tomorrow.

I know I will be tempted to eat hot dogs, peanuts, cracker jacks, and drink a beer.

I plan on eating before I go, I have my L-Glutamine handy, but does anyone else have any other tips for me? Or suggestions of what I can eat while there so I don't feel left out of spending my money on food?

Just one Miller Lite tho It is a treat for the "end of our current Induction Challenge".
Keep in mind that alcohol slows our weight loss and kicks us out of ketosis. Just FYI.
Take note of how your body reacts & be prepared if the alcohol causes any cravings for bad stuff. Because it might. Alcohol lowers our willpower. So if you think it might set you up to eat "carbage" ~ skip it.

YAY re: BB&B!! I have a $10 coupon that I will use to get those!! YAY!!

I got my pans at Kitchen Collections..but i know they are on line and you can order from them..they have the cheapest ones I found..
yes I did read the email but I am not sure now because here is what Dr Atkins said..

"Often more effective responses occur with the use of aceytl carnitine,a compound that helps focus the carnitine action" page 261 end of the 4th paragraph..

Being 58 I figure to go with this selection since it should help more and especially since i am on a beta blocker for the heart problem..

this order comes in today so I will try it and if a problem then i will try the other one,

Does that sound OK of a plan..

IMPORTANT ~ PLEASE READ *ALL* OF THIS:

Aloha Butterflies!!

Today is the end of our 12-day Induction Challenge!! How did everyone do??

OK, I cheated and weighed yesterday. Glad I did because yesterday I weighed 163. Today I weigh 166. Even tho my LCF stats say 163 ~ I started this Challenge at 166 ~ & apparently I’m still bouncing between the two. So I did NOT meet my Challenge Goal of 155. So I need to make some tweaks to my plan. Will do so by Monday. BUT I did notice on the scale that my Body Fat has gone from 30% to 25% so I must be doing something right ?? So that perfectly illustrates WHY we cannot always go by just our WEIGHT as our body comp is also CHANGING !! In a way, this is poetic justice because if you read back to Post #1 of this Thread, this was my point re: the scale.

1 – Please report your own progress/feedback right here on this Induction Challenge thread.

2 – After that, please switch to using this thread over the weekend:
~ Team 11 ~ Please Check-In 4 Upcoming MYResolution Challenge (Jun 2 to Dec 31) ~

3 – On Sunday evening ~ I'll create 3 new threads for us all to begin using on Monday, June 2:

a) Team 11 ~ Butterfly Stats ~ (for our stats/macros ONLY ~ there will be a simple "format" to follow)

b) Team 11 ~ Butterfly Chats ~ (for us to chit-chat & get to know each other & share health info/tips)

c) Team 11 ~ Butterfly Eats ~ (for us to post our daily/weekly menus & share recipes/food ideas)
