Morning Ladies,
Well the weekend was a lost cause and it all went downhill from there, but I go back on plan for good yesterday! Was down to 141 after a week on induction and gained it back plus one... Wonder how the rest of the original thread folks are doing???? My problem has always been planning and being ready for the day. I run around a lot at work and don't eat during the day...then I get home and devour everything in site! Well, hope you all have a great day! And yes, it is 4:00 a.m. I couldn't sleep... ![]() Kath

I have been lurking around this thread for a few days now and just decided to post....i restarted induction 5 days ago (as of today) and thanks to all of you and your inspiration, have actually stuck to it. I had been low carbing for over three years and was maintaining my loss but in January me and BF both lost our jobs and were living on potatoes and ramen noodles
....i don't care if i ever see another potato again (guess thats a good thing). I ended up gaining 24 pounds back of the 40 i had lost...in about four months. We are finally back on our feet and i am already feeling so much better....not only physically, but emotionally as well. Thanks all for posting your menus, trials, thoughts, and suggestions. We couldn't do this without each other ![]() Yesterday: B: 2 scrambled eggs 1oz. montery jack cheese and baby bella mushrooms L: was wicked full so ended up munching on a few celery sticks D: Beef, broccoli, onion, garlic, and broccoli slaw stir fry w/ lc SHRIMP SAUCE (it was divine) S: 4 ham, mayo, mustard and dill relish roll-ups (got hungry around midnight) Today: B: left over stir fry (breakfast doesn't L: Green beans and butter and a few ham slices D: egg salad and bacon -kristen ![]()

Meddies, and welcome back Jamie. We may not be a big looser bunch but we try our best.I think some have left the fold but they will be back. I have started over a few times and finally came to a point and said: enough. My DH had his blood work done this month and his BP is down and his Colest. is just about perfect again, and that after eating all that RED MEAT, FAT ,EGGS and CHEESE,lol and no meds . My turn is next month and I want to be healthier too. The only trouble I have is not exercising enough. We live out of town and the road is to busy so I don't feel safe walking alone, guess I have to make laps in the yard. Menu today: B: 1 sl. crust less quiche black coffee L: 1 sl. sponge bobs flax meal bread w/mayo,mustard,ham& cheese 1 hot dog D: balsamic vinaigrette marinated grilled chicken tenders 2 c lettuce w/ O&V dressing and 1c stir fried cabbage in butter and bacon S: sf jello w/wc also lots of ice tea. Gn all CU tomorrow. ![]()

Kristen! Glad things are going better for you and BF! Well, I made it thru the weekend and stayed on induction. Funny...no headache this time?? Guess I wasn't off plan long enough for my body to forget. ![]() Yesterday's menu: B - 2 eggs fried in butter, bacon, coffee w/Davinci's L - leftover bacon D - Hot chicken "salad", roasted asparagus Was gonna have some salad, but was too full... ![]() Was also too busy outdoors to think about snacks or dessert! Drank a ton of water flavored with a little davinci's... ![]() Kath |

Hi all - I'm back on plan and on day 2 as well. So far, so good. I hope to see a loss soon, I've been stuck at this weight (give or take 5 lbs) for months.

I am on day 2, also. Had a steak and fried cabbage in butter last
night. Stopped and got some CoQ-10 and L-Carnitine to see if they help. Walgreens had buy one, get one free. Had turkey bacon and eggs for breakfast. Haven't gotten as hungry as I thought I would. |

Hi everyone.. I'm back as well.. started sunday.. yesterday didn't do perfect.. but today will be better.
I was back at the doctor for what they are telling me is a sinus infection due to allergies.. took augmentin last month..within a few days it was back.. now they have me on biaxin... stuff is nasty.. at least it makes me not want to eat.. ![]() it's so hard for me to focus on what i"m eating when I feel bad. I just want this crud to go away once and for all. But I also have to do this. I can't let any more days go by. Good job everyone. ![]()

Hi all, checking in.
back Jamie, and good to see all others. I have been keeping busy with my garden so I just forget to eat . I am so sore tonight cant hardly move, been so lazy all winter so my muscles are protesting. My eating is on track, but not much movement on the scale, only 1/2 lb down last week. How come I don't loose much but my sticks are getting darker? As for the induction headaches, I have never had one, wonder why?Lucky me? |
