Ugh. I went into my local coffee place (not Starbucks) and wanted a cold coffee blended drink to celebrate it being 65 degrees here. I went back and forth with them about carb content and sugar, etc. I finally ended up with the "lite" version, with SF syrup, even though they used skim milk in the mix.

Wrong choice. Ugh. 58 carbs!

I'd have done better with the regular version. If I get a "coffee" flavor, no whip, small, it's only 21 carbs. Only.

Jeep, I've been having iced coffees at starbucks for a while now and it's just as good if not better than those blended drinks, without all the carbs. I get a Iced Venti sugar free vanilla americano. 0 carbs. Then I add about a tablespoon or so of heavy cream or half and half. It's delicious and totally satisfies my cold coffee drink craving, without all the carbs.

jeep, that sucks! But don't sweat it too much. Times like this make me glad I'm not a coffee drinker.
So something random happened today, and I'm stoked. I went to the gas station to get the kids some stoopid bug juice (don't ask if you don't know what it is) and there was a dude putting out a cigarette right in front of the door. I coughed and literally almost gagged. It was SOOOO nasty, yuck- how did I ever smoke? Sometimes I still miss the physical action of it, but OMG, I'm so glad not to smell like that anymore. It made me wonder how many people I had choked with my nasty habit, but then I remembered what a classy lady I am- I never smoked around non-smokers I think (hope) it's safe to say I've kicked the habit forever.
Everyone is so quiet today. Geez, you'd think it was weigh in day or something!!!!

Yes, i went thru those feelings too. And when people come in with papers they want copied or whatever i can smell it in the papers! I just plain notice i can smell better now! Which can be kinda gross too!

Hi ladies! Sorry I've been kind of MIA lately.

After a few carbier days, yesterday I DID make it the gym and walked 3 miles! It was great to get back there again after staying away all during Spring Break.

Today is my first full day back completely low carb... and I am facing some temptations again, but I'm NOT giving in!

Today's Menu:
B- turkey on oopsies (6)
L- pepperoni slices, diet soda (2)
S- meat of some kind and veggies (8)
TOTAL=16 carbs/8 glasses of water
(maybe walking to park later = 1 mile)

lc - I haven't looked into that.... I'll do some research, thanks

riot - I can do m&e better than I can do fat fast! I really only have the eggs in the morning then it's smooth sailing. I don't have to worry about 2 oz of this and 2 oz of that - just have to worry about only eating meat and eggs ! I will say that I miss my vegetables when I'm on it so I can only do it for 3 days or so at a time.

Ok so I think I really just hate exercising. I've done 7 hours of the callanetics and I just want to die lol! I keep thinking that I will enjoy working out, etc when I am closer to my goal weight because then I won't have so much to carry around.

Seriously. What gives? I know I have to exercise to lose weight so why is it so dreadful?
