Grrrr... I'm sooo mad! Pink, how common is it for thousands of people to get turned away from the rallies? Omg, it wa s so swamped, we didn't get in! I'm on my cell, so I know my grammer and what not is off... Sorry! I'll be home in a while, TTYL!

Good job everyone. Next week should rock. My family went home ..no more excuses. I am happy about my results. I counted at least one or two meals out a day for either dinner, lunch and lots of cocktails. I kept to plan, excercised but drank plenty. And I do not mean water.

Thanks! I was rather shocked. I did stick to low carb meals and drinks. I think the key was trying to exercise everyday. I am turning 50 on July 1st and am very short. I don't know why I waited so long to get started. This is a good challenge for me because I hate to weigh in on Mondays. I am however, and for me it has made my weekends... shall we say "less enjoyable". Good luck this week girls and I will be listening in....

Wow, if you look at the chart, there are some great losses going on!

Got my run/walk in, ate a honkin huge salad (MIL made it for me so felt obligated), 1/2 chix boob with pepper jack cheese and mushrooms. Probably more carbs total than I wanted, but good healthy ones.

Cooked the roast, made tomorrow's lunch, and need to get to sleep. Ended up taking my oldest DD to urgent care for a UTI, poor thing. Hopefully the medicine will kick in soon.

Ok so I didn't find any syrups that I wanted at wal mart yesterday. I'm going to a different one this afternoon and if they don't have it then I'm seriously ordering online...

Riot - I do the 30 minute walk and you walk exactly 2 miles. It literally takes 30 minutes and that includes warm up and cool down. I did the 3 mile workout last night and if I remember correctly it was right at 45 minutes or a little under. I have memorized the 2 mile walk because I've done it so much and my dvd tracks the time, etc. I wasn't really looking at that last night with the other but will pay more attention to it when I do the walk again tomorrow. Don't worry, I have short legs also and am able to do the 2 mile walk in 30 minutes. The first dvd I have has 5 different walks you can do - she incorporates weights in some of them, etc. You could just do the power mile walk twice per day if you wanted.

Damn riot I was hoping you were going to get in!!! I wish I would have got on here later yesterday and I would have told you they line up hours before to get in so if you can't wait it's really hard to get in. I'm so glad there was a good turn-out because that isn't predicted to be their state. I'm making phone calls to your state trying to help undecideds with questions or what they don't understand about some of the issues in hopes of at least getting the numbers up. I just want to add you are a very special person...you've been getting on here being a support system to all of us and helping us when it sounded like you could have used a support system or a venting place yourself. Just another reason we all like you so much.


Belle-I like the caramel Davinci's, long ago I read a thread about favorite flavors and many people wrote the Toffee was really good.

riot last night I ate cake too. My girlfriend had a home party and she made a layered cake called "death by chocolate". I'm not much of a cake person but I ate it, not once but twice...it was so good. Today I have a friggin headache and no energy. I have been sitting in front of this computer for 2 hours. I need to be cleaning the garage because our village is having community garage sales starting Thursday and we have to start setting up tomorrow. I tried to think like you belle and reason with myself why I shouldn't eat that cake but the sick part is I got happy thinking about eating the cake. It made me feel good and kind of like relief when I finally reasoned with myself that it was ok to eat it. And since I already messed up eating the cake I told myself it was ok to eat the meatballs too...and the spinach dip. Then my girlfriend sees that I've totally blown it so she brings me a glass of Arbor Mist Winter Berry Merlot and I drank that. I need counseling I guess that I get happy knowing I can eat food that's going to make me feel like crap and gain what I lost.

FF - silk stalkings wasn't really like knots landing. It was a murder mystery type of show except they added in the sexual aspect. It was actually pretty cheesy - the setting was in Miami I think and the police detectives wore hideous, bright colors and the police station had blue strobe lights in it, etc. It wasn't really believable but I love trying to guess who murdered who, etc. There was an underlying story line between the lead characters also and that was pretty good. The leading guy was Rob Estes - don't know if you remember him from Melrose Place and a few other lifetime movies. Anyway, I used to love it so my husband got me the first season on dvd last year for my birthday. I had no clue they put it on dvd so it was kind of sweet.

No menu for today I swear, that cake will be GONE today, even if I have to trash it down the garbage disposal!

Pink, I was so mad! It said doors open at 5, program begins at 7. I couldn't leave the house until 4:30, and then I had to pick up my mom. Then we had to pick up my sister. We got there about 6-ish, and there was a line that was 2 city blocks long!!!
