Morning kids!

OMG, I still have this stomach bug. It only hurts now when I eat solid foods so I guess that could be a blessing in disguise, but I'm HUNGRY. Everytime I try to eat though the pain comes back so it's really not worth it.

So today is chicken broth all day, and water. I haven't been able to work out the last few days which is not good. Yesterday I spent most of the day sleeping. Today I feel a little more alert so I've been taking short little walks outside but it's not doing much because I can't work up a sweat or anything. I have to walk slow or else my stomach starts hurting again. Anyhow, enough whining from me. Hope you're all having a good day. Riot, those doughnut nuggets you made sound sooooooooooooooooo freaking delicious.

Good Morning ladies!

FF i really think you should go in and have your pains checked out, this has been going on long enough where it doesn't seem like it is just going to go away. I would really hate for it to turn into something really bad just cuz your being stubborn and don't wanna go in.

Riot those bites do sound delish!

Ok girls i've putted around for a few months and i'm just not losing. I feel that at my weight, it should be coming off a little easier.. and i don't really go off plan but for an occasional drink since beginning of march, (2x) and some peanuts to snack on....Could you look at my menu's for the last few weeks and see if i'm doing something wrong? I know it doesn't show you my net, but i rarely go over th 20 carbs. Maybe i'm eating the wrong things to get my carbs. Maybe i should try to get my calories down? Less carbs? I know i can't do the Fat Fast. I'm really leaning towards IF but haven't had time to read up on it. Like my question right now is, during my window, do i eat my reg. lc. menu or are there rules about what you eat. I already don't eat till noon during the day and am normally done no later than 7:30 most nights. So i'm really close to already following the plan i think. Got any idea's?

FF, sorry about the tummy bug! Ouch!

Not a lot going on here. Having a hard time sticking to plan, sticking to IF, sticking to anything. Didn’t make it to the gym yesterday, and it looks like I might not make it today.

DD1 has a tummy bug. She’s fine today but the daycare wouldn’t let her come back until tomorrow and so she’s at MIL’s house. So I can either pick up DD2 from daycare, go over to MIL’s and pick up DD1, and head home, OR try to convince DD2 that she can play at the gym by herself and have DH pick up DD1 on his way home. DD2 probably won’t want to be alone at the gym – she’s my attachment baby.

Ugh. Did I say Ugh? Ugh.

And I’m starving… trying hard to not open my window until noon. S.T.A.R.V.I.N.G.

Snix, maybe your carbs are too low? Sometimes you just aren't getting enough -- I've talked with lots of people that up their carbs and start losing again. The good fruits and veggies are finally coming in... Maybe add those in and eat more?

FF~sorry you have the nasty bug!

Snix you can do IF with LC. IF isn't certain foods just certain times/windows you eat.

Jeep sorry your little one was sick. Hope DD will let you get the GYM in today.

Snix - I feel your pain. I started off losing so quickly and now I seem to be at a stand still. I'm thinking about trying IF too. I downloaded the manual online and I just started reading it. Everybody seems to be losing on IF. I just have to figure out when to do my window since I work nights Mon - Thur and then sleep normal Fri - Sun.

Have you downloaded the manual yet??

Hey everyone

Menu:
B: turkey slices; coffee with cream and splenda
L: cucumber slices; pork chop with mushrooms
D: pork chop with mushrooms; cabbage
water

Riot - I took my measurements over the weekend because I'm not sure when I'll actually FINISH the 12 hours lol! I will post them tonight when I get home. I'll post where I took the measurements and then how much I lost. The dvd is actually about 50 minutes instead of an hour and about 10 of the 50 is spent teachinig you how to do the exercises so I'm not sure why I dislike it so much lol! I will be walking tonight though and I'll try to remember to bring the dvd to work tomorrow so I can do it here. You'll probably do great with it!

Well, Snix this has happened to me a couple of times, and I've tried different things. And they both worked. Once I just said the hell with it and went on like a 5 day carb binge. That was when I quit smoking. After that, I went back to losing. More recently, I have started eating "cleaner", I guess you can say. I very rarely make any LindaSue dishes, and even more rarely do I eat other "dishes". This week I'm eating cauli pizza, and I'm not sure how that will affect me yet. Anyway, I started focusing more on getting 15 carbs from veggies. Being as that only left me 5 - 10 to play with, I was pretty much left eating plain meat. Well, not plain. Like Heroin wings and such, as opposed to say, a chicken casserole with lots of stuff in it. Anyway, I pick a veggie for each meal, and try to get 5 carbs worth. The broccoli I buy is 2g per cup, so I eat 2.5 cups for a meal. The green beans I buy are 3g per cup, etc etc.

Sick babies are no fun! If you don't make it to the gym, maybe try a video at home?

I don't have a deep fryer, actually. I'd like one, though. I jjust used a skillet and about 1/4 cup coconut oil.

They might work. If you leave out the Splenda, otherwise I think it might be too sweet. The whey powder has somewhat of a sweet taste to it.

snix - I do the same as riot but probably eat less vegetables because sometimes I get lazy with cooking them. I don't eat a lot of those recipes either because when I do, I eat too much of them cause they're so good. I have actually only tried a couple of them for that reason. I stick to plain foods because I tend to do better when it's not about the food I'm eating. I know a lot of my menus look the same - salad, eggs, tuna, chicken, etc but it works better for me to do that. Some people have to be able to eat tons of different foods though. Maybe you could try eating more basic foods like I listed above and see how that works. I rarely eat nuts, etc and when I do it's only a few. I'm typing this before I've had a chance to go back and look at your menus. I'll do that now and let you know if I have any other ideas...
