No, no, you misunderstand....I LIKE that there are older people there.
Older people are so non-judgmental. They were all very friendly there today. If I go with younger people I'll have to worry about them talking about my fat ass behind my back. lol |

I know today is check in, but since I use my work scale (in nurses station, the dr. kind) I will have to tell you in the a.m. BUT there wont be any loss to report
because of TOM i sucomed (sp?) to all the cravings. I had just done the fat fast before joining you guys last week and lost 4 lbs, so I prob gained that right back. I was on plan during the day, then in the night (at work) I was eating chocolate. You dont want to even know about this weekend![]() But Im back on track and am planning on attending a Luau in 5 wks (not in Hawaii, just a themed one here in town) and really want to buy something cute to wear (not a moo moo) so hopefully that is enough motivation to keep me going! I know I need to check in more so you guys can keep me accountable! Congrats to all the losers so far!!

I'm trying to survive through all the TOM cravings I've got. I think I'm going to do a FFast day today. When I did FFast before I wasn't hungry so I'm hoping it will work for me today. I'm out of Ketosis so the FFast should put me right back in.

Ok, i love hot wings guys, but ummmm, i'm on my 3rd and last day of eating the left overs from friday night. 4 days in a row of having some hot wings. I think i will take a week off from them after today....

Hi all!
I know today is check in, but I am going to opt out since I had an indulgent weekend. I am doing the FF for the next couple of days. I signed up for mommy and me swim lessons with my 14 month old daughter (who, btw, took her first steps on her OWN yesterday!...so exciting!) I said to my husbasnd..."so do you want to swim with her...causse it is only one parent at a time allowed in the pool" I was sooo hoping he was going to say, "don't worry...I will swim with her." That way, I would not have search the forbidden bathing suit drawer and find the all black one piece that is supposed to make you look the slimmest. Unfortunately, it does nothing for the thunder thighs. Of course he told me that I should swim with her. So next weekend, I am working up the courage to get into the swim suit with other people. I am definatley staying on plan!! ![]() L

I haven't made them yet either. There are so many things that I've seen and wanted to try. I've been kind of scared to try too many things because I don't want to crave them all the time and stall on the scale. I've been waiting until I get closer to goal before trying a ton of different things. It's so weird but I do much better and stay on plan when I eat the same things over and over or eat boring foods. I have no idea why. You would think I would get sick of it and crave stuff even more but I don't.
The deep dish pizza almost did me in. I ate WAY too much of it and could have eaten more. I decided at that point that I would wait until later to keep trying stuff... |

You were losing 5 lbs per week doing IF?? Wow! That's great! I don't know if I could do IF. I remember reading you post about it when we were doing the Christmas challenge but I think I would starve lol! You have been losing consistently since you came back from vacation though. I think 3 pounds is pretty awesome. I guess it doesn't hurt that you're walking like a madwoman either huh? lol

Jeep, there is thread on IF that will give you a lot more info on it, but the short version is that you only eat during a certain "window" of time throughout the day, and then the rest of the day you fast. For example, I used to eat in only a 5 hour window between 2 and 7 or 3 and 8. Other people do it from like 11-6 or whatever works for them.

jeep - I think you should just put 216.2. FF and riot usually put their exact weight in and I think snix does it as well. My scale only goes pound to pound but sometimes I will put .5 because the number will fluctuate between a number so that's when I know I'm in between pounds.
