Hi Everyone:

I would also like to join the party I've been on and off with Atkins for a few years. I just started induction again on March 24th. I do not weigh myself, I just check to see if my clothes fit differently. I need the support of others going through this phase as well. I've been very strict and good for the last two weeks. I found this receipe in the recipe room that calls for walnuts, almonds, or pecans (whatever you prefer), sugar free syrup and splenda. I made it with Walnuts and it is so good!!!! I've been eating the walnuts over the past couple of days. My questions is will this stall my weight loss? I've been able to avoid all the other sugar free candies and bars.

Thanks!

Hi stbarner!

Yes, please join us!!! You are more than Welcome to hang out with us!!!
I bet you lose something!!!!!

On the other, I guess it's all a trial and error for you. If you know your starting weight and where you're at now, then eat that candy, you can see if it will stall you.

The thing is to know right now if you've been losing at a regular pace. If you eat the candy and say you don't lose for a few days, or more, then you could probably bet it is stalling you. But if you continue to lose, then it has no affect on you.

That's my experience with foods!

Hope that Helps!!

stbarner I'm glad you could join us. That candy sounds yummy. I am going to check it out once I hit OWL. I think nuts would mess me up in induction. But most things do

stbarner!!! Hi! I'm Christina and Its nice to meet you!Hope you enjoy this way of LC life again! Diana and I started this Atkins Induction to have fun and enjoy and encourage all of you thru your LC Journey. Using Nuts thru Induction might and it might not be right for you. I didn't hardly eat them when I was doing my Induction to lose 100 lbs I have lost. When I ate them I would either gain or stall. I restarted Induction again to see if I can get my last 10 lbs off for I have lost 3.5 of that in 4 days so no nuts for me till I am off of it..Im nuts anyway!!

Once again welcome and enjoy the ride!!

HUGS

You're doing great! Just keep hanging in there and keep posting, sometimes it helps. We're all here for you!!!

Diana, thank you for your encouragement. I try not to dispair abt the scales. Drinking more water and trying to eat more protein too. I have no issue with meeting more than the required 8 glasses of water per day. I hope to see some movement by end of this week else something need to be tweak.

Hi Samantha!

I see your light is on. How are you doing today, are things getting a little better for you?
I know it takes time to lose sometime. But you will!

Another thing that could cause our weight to go slow is hidden sugars in our food. It's important, if you're doing Atkins, that you check your labels for sugar. You don't want to be eating anything like that.

Just make sure you're eating the allowable foods and you'll see a loss.

I know it's so many things to think about, but eventually you get so used to it that it becomes second nature.

I know you're gonna see a loss soon!!!

Good Morning Diana,

I have been doing this Induction for 7 days and no way am i going to give up. Will explore anf scrutinise the food and labels before putting in my mouth. When in doubts, zip it up.

Being an Asian, the menu posted here totally deviate from my family menu. Im also wondering if anyone in Singapore is in this forum. Else i have to wait till you wake up before i can find any companion here.

It have been an easy battle for me and i will hang on to see the losses. Else it will be a totally bloody loss on my end to give up.

You have a great day ahead and as i will need to set the table real soon for my DD.

My menu for today

B: Last night, lettuce soup
L: 1/2 fried fish with leftover chicken drumstick
D: wagyu beef kebab with capcicum
S: chicken soup with shredded chicken and beansprout

Good for you Samantha!!

You just hang in there and continue like you said, and you'll see your loss!!! I'm hoping to see that myself. Hopefully soon too!!

It may be easier to find out if there are others from Singapore to see how they eat. I'm sure there are several here!
Usually shows on there signature area.

Have a great day too and let's Lose!!!

Love Ya!!!

Good morning everyone!!

Welcome Samantha79 I am not Diana but I tried Fat Fast for 2 days without results. You have to eat 80 to 90 percent fat which mean hardly any vegetables at all..mostly fat. I just could not take it not being able to eat my Vegetables. Diana and I are doing Stillmans now. I am doing the 14 day one that you can have up to 1 cup of vegetables on a day.

Welcome again and HUGS

Good morning all!

I stayed right on the Stillmans 14 day plan yesterday but didn't get to do my walking. I didn't lose anything again and have not in 3 days. I lost 3 lbs last week and I was really hoping for a whoosh again. I sure do hope it happens. I stayed right on the plan yesterday without any tweaks..even craved my LC Cheesecake and I didn't eat it! I dont know if I am ever going to see a budge in the scale again. I drink 100 oz of water a day and no cheese..no SAs...I have been going almost 2 weeks on this. So frustrating..but I am going to stick right with Stillmans this week and if I dont see another bulge in the scale I am going right back on Induction again.

Ok Here is my menu for today

Current weight 139.5
B-Lean Ham slice fried with no oil with 2 eggs
L- Hamburger Steak with 1 cup of Broccoli and Cauliflower baked in the oven.
S-BBQ Cola Chicken Breast(Skinless and Boneless)(Stillmans Recipe) with 1 cup of Salad with 1 TBS Dressing

Try to walk 30 to 45 min on my treadmill..which is 3 to 4 miles for me.

If I get to craving something sweet today I am going to eat me a piece of my induction cheesecake. I am just tired of not being able to have what I crave and not seeing the scale move!

Have a great day everyone!
HUGS

Hi Chris and Christina!!!

Christina, don't get impatient now, you'll start losing again. Impatientence leads to disasters. Speaking from experience!! Ah hem!!!

I wouldn't be surprised if you saw something by the end of the week. Hang in their Girlie! You're doing great, nothing to worry about!!

Hi Chris, doing great yourself!!! You are right! If we just pass up all those yucky temptations, we would be so much happier and it would show in the scales!! I'm guilty of that too!! ::

Yes, that's all have a great on plan day!!!
