funny that you mention salt... I have been craving that today...so I decided that the advice on getting rid of shakes was a good idea and instead had almost 1/2 a package of bacon hahaha... Honest I would be happy if there was a salt lick in the kitchen.

LOL In a weird way I am and a benefit of all the sodium is that it's making we want to drink the water that normally is like torture. Thanks for the advice.. I am so thankful for this site!

Had a Induction day today!

Hi all!
Well..I did Induction today menu today for a change. I ended up walking 3.5 miles today in 1 hour!Hope that brings a whoosh again!

Here was my menu for today
B- 1 grilled hamburger pattie with 2 eggs (3 carbs)
L-Crab Meat Salad with 1 boiled egg added in (3 carbs) with 1 slice of LC Cheese cake-3 carbs=(6 carbs)
S- 6 oz of BBQ Ribs with 1/4 cup of Mixed Green with 1/2 cup of Salad with 1 TSP of Salad dressing (around 8 carbs)

The kitchen is now closed tonight. I am really tired but I already know my menu for tommorow so am going to post it

B- Grilled Ham Slice with 2 eggs
L-Tuna Fish Salad fixed the same way the Crab Salad was
Snack-1 piece of LC Cheesecake (? Maybe..if I am craving something sweet)
S-Taco Salad (4 oz of Taco meat with 1/2 cup of Salad and 1 tsp of cheese maybe on Cleo Taco Shell) or maybe a Grilled ribeye steak and a salad.
Going to try for 3.5 to 4 miles again tommorow! Have to get up early and do it because my son has speech Therapy..we will see how sore I am from today first


backatitagain40 TY! Its taken alot of hard work and prayer to get where I am today. I stayed on Induction up till I got so sick last October..so you can see how long I stayed on it I then got so sick and then starting adding LC Sweets to mine and with NO activity starting gaining that 10 lbs again. Now with my walking again it coming off fast again for now.. Sure hope it continues!

You all that is having trouble on Induction..add some kind of Excerise 15 to 30 min to your LC eating..it REALLY made me lose my weight fast and its helping me out again with my stall.

Today is my 7th day on Induction. Since my first post on the lbs loss. The scale is not moving. But i have joted down 2" loss from my body.

Trying to stay positive on the no weight loss. I have been reading that the fats suppose to melt away. Do i have stubborn fats?

Today menu:

B: 3 slices of turkey bacon
Lunch: 1 hb egg with 1 small slice of steam fish
Dinner: smoked salmon with greens
Snack: will fry more turkey bacon if hungry and eat yesterday left over salad.

Don't get discouraged! You may be losing inches, that happens when doing low carb and it's great when that happens!!

Don't forget to try and drink plenty of water.

You're doing great! Just keep hanging in there and keep posting, sometimes it helps. We're all here for you!!!

Happy Monday Friends!

Back-at-It, wanted to add that if you are feeling shaky during induction, you should consider a potassium supplement. They really helped me with that feeling and also with leg cramps.

I am on Meat and Eggs for a bit. Very discouraging end of my first week of induction, so I am working on M/E through at least Wednesday, maybe Friday...I guess it will depend on how I am feeling and if it is working. I am a big veggie girl, so I know I won't do it longer than Friday in either case.

I am working towards a very important personal goal, and really want to kick this ketosis into HIGH GEAR!!

I'm going on Stillmans this week, but I'll be here! I think the support is just as important as the type of eating we do.

Here's my menu for today:

B-2 fried eggs, 1 nitrate free hot dog on a rev roll sandwich
S- chicken tenders
L- 3 chicken tenders, cottage cheese
D- same as lunch
Water!!!

I don't get bored with food if you all are thinking that. I just pretty much eat to live. I don't get too carried away with what I make because I have other things that I need to do. Not to say anything about anyone who needs variety. I wish I could be creative, but just not. Baking is what I love to do!!

I love to read the different things that you all make! It gives me ideas.

Well, I hope you all have a great day and Let's Lose This Weight!!!!

Well,
Here is my plan for the day
B-scrambled eggs with green pepper and mushrooms
L- leftover ribs and asparagus
D- Hot dog(no bun of course)salad made with spinach leaves
The scale is up a pound again today....I know I am not supposed to weigh that often but I am obsessed I weigh everday! But I don't let it bother me too much because I know it will fluctuate. Especially since TOM is visiting this week.
Good luck to those of you trying Stillman's and M&E this week let me know how it goes I have never tried either. Don't know if I could do it.

Hope all of you ladies have a great week. It's Monday let's start it off right!!!!WooHoo!!!!

Good morning all!
I am going to make this short and sweet. This is going to be a busy day. I didn't have a loss last night but I did expect that. My menu has changed today. Here it is:

B-Ham and 2 Eggs
L-Hamburger with Lettuce and Mustard on Rev Roll with Cottage Cheese
S-Grilled Chicken Breast or 4 oz of Taco Meat with 1/2 cup of Salad and 1 TBS of Dressing or Taco Sauce

Decide to try to go back to Stillmans 14 day for a week. I will try to walk today if I have time. If not then I will make it up this week. My insoles rubbed a big blister on my left 2nd toe so it will hard to walk but I will try to.

Hi Chris!

Your menu looks good! I know that so many things can factor in when we see the scale go up. Did you have a bm yet? I know that sounds gross, but it does make a difference. If TOM is coming, then that will do it too.

The thing is, never get discouraged, because as long as you are eating how you're supposed to and drinking water, you will always lose. Don't forget your inches too, that is another indication that you are losing as well.
