No, I'll never leave this wonderful group of Ladies!

Stillmans is just eating lean meats, no veggies, no fats. This is the quick weight loss method. There is actually 3 methods of this but this one here agrees with me.

I have "breaded" with parmesean cheese and fried chicken and baked pork chops with it and it is sooooo good! Nice and crunchy like real fried chicken! Just the cheese, no egg needed!

Terrific Tuesday Friends!!

A good coating for fish, chix, pork...probably anything you can fry, even veggies is the pork rinds crushed with parmesan added to it. I find that when I mix them, the cheese is less likely to stick on the pan.

I am down another pound this morning Continuing on with the Fat Fast. Yesterday I compared the '92 and '02 versions of the Fat Fast, and they are identical...so no new info to share.

Can't wait to hear from you all today!!

Peace

Good morning all!!

Boy..another 2 lb gain for 4 lbs in 4 days!! Of course most of my meals consisted of LC Chocolate Chip cookies yesterday!! TOM ALWAYS put 3 to 5 lbs on me..I have 10 to 14 days of misery from it!! I know it must be hormonal by the way I have felt this week. I know I will lose this right after I am about over my cycle so I am not going to worry about it right now.

One good thing..I went to Walmart yesterday to look at shorts..they had there Faded Glory new Blue Jean relax fit short for 5.00 a pair..well..I got a size 8/10 medium in them..got home with them..and they swallow me!! I usually wear a size 10 relax fit in their jeans but these look like balloons on me..So..they are going back tommorow and I am going to try the smalls...I know I am not really a small..but my does it feel good to try on one!! LOL I know I have lost some more inches even thou the scales dont say so because of the way my clothes are fitting.

Livy..nice going on FF..you know I am about ready to try it again next week. I didn't even know there was 2 versos of it..do you have the links for it? If you do Yahoo me or PM me and send them to me.

Diana..I know you are upset on Atkins but regardless if you go back to Stillmans or not you know we are here to support you g/f! I might go back to Stillmans after TOM instead of FF...I dont know...I am like you and I am flip flopping around like a fish!! LOL

Ok..I will be on and off today. I need to go fix me some more Sausage muffins and I am thinking about fixing some more crab or Salmon ones too. Catch you all a little later today!!

HUGS

Good morning all you wonderful people! Well, I'm stuck on 136 for five days now but that's ok....no loss but no gain so I'm happy.

Been pretty hectic around town. We've got some major fires going on right now. Have already shut down schools and hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of property has been destroyed all because some idiots decided to set a couple of small fires. I just don't understand the thrill of being so destructive. I feel so bad for all the people who have had to evacuate their homes. Some of my friends have had to move their horses and dogs to avoid the fires. Very sad situation. Which brings me to another problem I have with this country. We'll pay a stupid athelete millions of dollars to dribble some stupid ball down a court or throw a football but we can't seem to come up with decent wages for our fireman and policemen (and teachers) who put their lives on the line everyday. I think the priorities are a little messed up.

Ok, that's enough of my complaining for the day!!!!

Have a great day everyone! See ya later.
Mary

Why God made Moms. . .

[Answers given by 2nd grade school children to the following questions]

Why did God make mothers?
1. She's the only one who knows where the scotch tape is.
2. Mostly to clean the house.
3. To help us out of there when we were getting born.

How did God make mothers?
1. He used dirt, just like for the rest of us.
2. Magic plus super powers and a lot of stirring.
3. God made my Mom just the same like he made me. He just used bigger parts.

What ingredients are mothers made of ?
1. God makes mothers out of clouds and angel hair and everything nice in the world and one dab of mean.
2. They had to get their start from men's bones. Then they mostly use string, I think.

Why did God give you Your mother and not some other mom?
1. We're related.
2. God knew she likes me a lot more than other people's moms like me.

What kind of little girl was your mom?
1. My Mom has always been my Mom and none of that other stuff.
2. I don't know because I wasn't there, but my guess would be pretty bossy.
3. They say she used to be nice.

What did Mom need to know about dad before she married him?
1. His last name.
2. She had to know his background. Like is he a crook? Does he get drunk on beer?
3. Does he make at least $800 a year? Did he say NO to drugs and YES to chores?

Why did your Mom marry your dad?
1. My dad makes the best spaghetti in the world. And my Mom eats a lot.
2. She got too old to do anything else with him.
3. My grandma says that Mom didn't have her thinking cap on.

Who's the boss at your house?
1. Mom doesn't want to be boss, but she has to because dad's such a goof ball.
2. Mom. You can tell by room inspection. She sees the stuff under the bed.
3. I guess Mom is, but only because she has a lot more to do than dad.

What's the difference between Moms and Dads?
1 Moms work at work and work at home & dads just go to work at work.
2. Moms know how to talk to teachers without scaring them.
3. Dads are taller & stronger, but Moms have all the real power 'cause that's who you got to ask if you want to sleep over at your friend's.
4. Moms have magic, they make you feel better without medicine.

What does your Mom do in her spare time?
1. Mothers don't do spare time.
2. To hear her tell it, she pays bills all day long.

What would it take to make your Mom Perfect?
1. On the inside she's already perfect. Outside, I think some kind of plastic surgery.
2. Diet. You know, her hair. I'd diet, maybe blue.

If you could change one thing about your Mom, what would it be?
1. She has this weird thing about me keeping my room clean. I'd get rid of that.
2. I'd make my Mom smarter. Then she would know it was my sister who did it and not me.
3. I would like for her to get rid of those invisible eyes on the back of her head.

Morning Ladies!!
Sounds like we are all flopping around looking for a way to get this stupid weight off!!!! It really shouldn't be so difficult should it?!? Well, I am sticking with the Atkins induction for a litlle longer. I am not even gonna weigh( TOM is here so why bother) for awhile. It just bums me out. Just going to stick to my 20 legal carbs and wait and see what happens. I am tired of thinking aobut it all day and worrying about it and just plain ticked off that I can't lose this weight this time around......Ok done venting!!

Hope you all have a great day I am going out to lunch today with my BF's mom. She is such a sweetie she is 83 and she does great. I always have fun with her. So not sure where we are going yet I will post my menu later. I do know we are having bacon cheesburgers for dinner. I am having leftover chicken for breakfast.

Christina good for you on the shorts...don't you just love it when things like that happen?
Buddysgirl you are doing really well don't worry about the sticks they don't prove anything mine have been purple for awhile and I had no loss so I am sure you will see a loss.

Jaime good for you on the loss!!!I think the only difference between 92 and 2002 is in the actual phases because you eat net carbs in 2002 and there is restrictions on sweetners in 2002 and not in 1992.

Diana Hopefully your little slip up won't even show up! Since you are getting it in control with Stillman's.....

Well Diana you were right it was water..dropped the gain plus 1.8 extra making the total to date 5 pounds. Best off all my blood glucose has dropped back down and that is fantastic. In the past 2 days I have not had a reading above 137/7.6 and most of them are 100/5.6 and 115/6.4. I am sleeping better and feeling so much better.
Well off to make some breakfast and go for a walk before the rain sets in.

Good Morning!!

Ciao, Shalom, hola, Good day, , Bonjour!! (I looked all them up! LOL)

Yeah Buddysgirl!!! Whoohoo!!! I'm so glad those lbs came off, that's awesome!!

Hi Mary, I agree, holding is better than gaining!! I'm sure you'll see a loss this week.
Oh, you started a wild fire within me too! I know what you mean about paying atheletes wasted millions just to do what?! This country is backwards!!!
We have fires here where people start them for the dumbest reasons!!! Ugh!!! Don't get me going!! LOL!!

Hi Chris, yep, my normal flip-flopping, back and forth thing that I do! I know that I can't eat alot of veggies or salads, it seems to stall me. Weird I know! But I know how you feel and I'm feeling it!
I know we have to lose! I know that in time we will lose, for some reason our bodies just has to do it's thing.
We're gonna lose, I know it!!!

Morning everyone! We had a very busy day at our house yesterday. Hubby finally decided it was OK to spend the money and we got some new furniture! A new dining set that is just gorgeous!! A new leather sofa and new Stressless chair for him. In 30+ years of marriage this is the first dining set we've ever bought. We've been living with hand-me-downs from his late Mom all that time. I keep going into the dining room and just staring. WOW. We ate at the table last night like grownups instead of at the kitchen island or the sofa.

Did ok yesterday but didn't eat enough at dinner so was hungry about 9 (indulged myself with those butter/cinnamon/splenda pork rinds). Woke up about 2 (the cat wanted to snuggle, darn her) and couldn't go back to sleep so got up and stared at the computer for 2 hours, had a cup of tea and some nuts. I know I know. bad darleen.

Have a new shake recipe ... boy is it yummy.

1/2 cup coconut milk
1/2 cup almond milk
2 TBS davinci SF Kahlua syrup
1 TBS cocoa powder
Splenda to taste
1 scoop Bioplex Whey Protein
1 egg
1 oz cream cheese
1 TBS coconut oil

mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm slurp

Oh Darleen we must have had some weird esp thing going on last night...I had some of those pork rinds too! They were yummy...never tried them before. Shake recipe looks good.

Ok I am back from lunch I had a taco salad. I am pretty sure all the ingredients were friendly. But I had a glass of wine too. I mean when an 83 year old sweetheart of a woman says have a glass of wine with me it is impossible to say no!

Diana thanks for the encouragement but I have given up all hope.
I don't think it is the wine because I gave that up for the 40 dyas of Lent and lost nothing.

Christina thanks for the heads up on the Splenda I went to Big Lots and bought what they had left 17 pkgs. Do you know what the carb count is for a whole pack is it way lower than the granular?

Hi Chris

Yes..much less...the QPs dont have any fillers in them. You have 6 carb per pack of QP and 24 carbs per cup of grad Splenda. So..much less..and you use 1 QP per cup of Grad...so if it calls for 1/4 cup of grad use 1/4 tsp of quick pack...

Also...dont ever give up on LC Chris..and dont ever think about leaving us...regardless you know you are welcome to stay here with us!!

Oh..and everyone..I got a new Webcam and this one is great..if anyone wants to chat or video chat holler later k?

HUGS
Christina

Happy Tuesday everyone!

Hope everyone is having a great day.

Menu:

B: egg cream, 4 egg yolks, 1 tsp of coconut oil, 1/2 cup of almond milk
L: fried trout in olive oil, salad with cucumbers and homemade mayo
D: fried salmon in olive oil and green beans with butter sauce

You will see my menus are pretty boring. I will get them more snazzy when I have a little more time. I just do fast things, like no brainers. LOL.

Darleen: Your shake sounds so delish. I might have to try it since for the past couple of days I have been having egg creams. Congrats on getting beautiful furniture.

Christina: Hang in there. You must be losing the inches.

Diane: How's it going on Stillmans?

LadyChurchill: I love the poem. Thanks for sharing.

Talk to you wonderful ladies later.

Ahhh Chris, Don't give up hope!! I won't let you!!
I don't want to ask, but I'm gonna. Are you sure you are not taking in some hidden carbs or sugar? I mean I know you would know, but sometimes we can't detect it.
I think you're body just maybe adjusting. Have you lost any inches?
I'm glad you won't give up, but you're body will start to lose soon. I'm believing that!

Hi Mary2, lol, I just started it today and so far I'm doing alright! I'm hanging in there.

Hi Darleen, wow new furniture, awesome!!! It's always nice to to get new things. I've got my mil bedroom furniture that she's had when she lived in Ill. She lives in Az now, but I would like to get some new things too.
Good for you!!

Hi Christina! I want to check out your camera!! Whenever you can!!

Ladies, we just have to hang in there and stick with it. It we have an off day, then we just get back up. One day at a time!!
